That is how my partner and I started out until we settled into the comfort of the roles. At first, I wasn't sure about switching because I thought that the BDSM community looked down on switch relationships for some reason. So I thought we were supposed to automatically fall into our roles while we were experimenting with BDSM in the beginning and that made it awkward at first. In our relationship, M always wants to be in charge, and I never want to be in charge. He takes control in everything. There are some things I'm allowed to lead the way in, but that is only because he's taught me which way to go and trusts me to follow the path he's pointed out. less
