I feel the same way. Along with not having time for the rituals and traditions, I don't find them necessary to spiritualism. In fact, I think they sometimes get in the way. I take bits from all religions that I identify and believe in. Though I have the most issues with Christianity, I still find great solace by reciting the Serenity prayer. I love the Buddhist religion, and identify a lot with its teachings. I also have aligned my self in the past with Wicca and Paganism in general, in my early searches for spirituality. I have a deep respect and love for the earth and focus more on life energies and the balance between positive and negative. I like the mythology behind the old Gods and Goddesses. The only ritualistic practices I have are using herbs and oils in baths and teas for healing, and I use cleansing rituals. I also practice meditation and Yoga to center my mind, body, and spirit.
