Me too, it was horribly painful! Sex was terible for a long time and then I met my current partner who has made love to me rather than treat me as a sex object and sex has never been better! (Although I play his sex object from time to time).

First time I hated it! I was sure I was not going to that again, ever! Anyway, under better circumstances and some unbelievable help from my mother I had sex again and again...my experiences were not always positive but I was mostly moving forward with new discoveries about myself and my body. To me, moving forward with a sense of adventure and awe sure has helped.

I feel like I should elaborate on mine now that everyone's telling their stories. I was visiting my boyfriend, the one I'm still with, at his college during winter break, and one night he asked me if I wanted to and I said yes. The next day we had his dorm room completely to ourselves and just went at it all day. It felt so perfect with him.

A prior hookup (no sex) with a guy who was WAY to rough got the pain part out of the way.

Technically, I'd had sexual intercourse once before, but I really don't count myself as having lost my virginity until my first sexual experience with a girl. We were at a party at a friend's house and as the night grew late, we were flirting and petting and one thing led to another until I was splayed out in the middle of the living room floor with everything hanging out, making enough noise that we ended up inspiring an orgy.

...it was a hell of an introduction to sex.

I was a few weeks short of 19. My boyfriend and I had been together for almost a year. We had been messing around in increasingly sexual ways, to the point of naked heavy petting and what I've recently heard called "outercourse."

What a way to go all out for your first experience! I am with Lily on the jealousy. I have yet to participate in any sort act remotely close to that scale, and I've been having sex for what, 5 or 6 years.

I was 18 and had not wanted to have sex until I had graduated from high school. I knew a guy who was about 8 years older than I was and who was divorced and he had been after me to go out with him. I figured he would be the perfect one since he should be very experienced. Since he hadn't fingered me prior to penetration, he didn't know I was a virgin until he shoved his dick in. I was 18.5 when I lost my virginity to my then boyfriend, now Husband. Not only did I lose that, but that day I also received my first kiss. I never dated in school because my class was full of losers and I just wasn't interested in sex with someone I didn't love. Hmmm, I was a young 15 when I lost my virginity. It's funny now, but my girlfriends mother was in the living room and I was having sex with her daughter in her bedroom. Oops, I clicked on 13-15 without really reading. I was 16. He was 18. It was at like 3 in the afternoon, and I had told my mother I would be "at the library". I remember his room was kind of a mess, and though he tried, it wasn't really romantic. He also accused me of not being a virgin because I didn't bleed, and even years later I remember him bringing it up, and me trying to explain AGAIN how I had ridden horses...

It was beautiful - we were both ready. We found a secluded grassy area next to a stream - took our time - fumbled around - and enjoyed every minute of it. But I'd say we weren't to typical. I read up extensively on 'what to do' and we had a lot of back seat experience with mutual masturbation and humping - it was really just a formality - but none the less a wonderful experience. We remained together for 3 years and enjoyed plenty of very fun sex.

It was recently, last May, at 21. (I'll be 22 in a few weeks.) Didn't enjoy it, though, was in a lot of pain and then bled for 2 weeks after. My bf (who's 18 now) stopped immediately when I screamed, and I felt bad he didn't get to enjoy much, so I bought him a sleeve to use because now I'm not there. (Long distance relationship of 2 years, now that I'm back home, might be a few more years or so before i see him again.)

I'm not sure if it's something I really enjoy, though. I was abused all my life so people touching me is not something i enjoy and I get very defensive, plus i have an extremly low drive. (I'm not sensual, either.) I don't mind using toys, however, but alone.

Let's see... I turned 18 Nov. 29, 2005, lost my virginity Feb. 6, 2006 at like 11:36pm. Let's just say we were done by 12:05 and when he got off we realized I had started my period - no it wasn't hymen bleeding. It hurt a little. Before we actually started I laid down the rules, if I said stop then he stopped. If I said pull out he pulled out. When he first initially pushed in it hurt and I said stop, wait let me get adjusted. Then the pain went away and I said okay and he shoved in. For a first time it was great, because I've had some pretty lousy sex since then. He was a virgin also. We had known each other online for about 3 years overall, dating for a year. It was the first night we met in person. That night included my first kiss, first blowjob and first time having sex.

I decided that I shouldn't do any of it because then I'd be more likely to be like 'okay do it!' And when I was younger my mom made me promise to wait until I was 18 to lose my virginity, so that I wasn't in high school and that I'd be able to take care of a baby.

I was around 16 and I too was left wondering what the damn fuss was about. I mean it was ok, over way too fast and God didn't strike me dead afterward. In fact no one could tell! That was the biggest let down for me...oh and my hips didn't "spread" as my Grandmother had insisted they would!

I made him wait one full year and he didn't make it easy....the man is very good at foreplay! I liked it and we did it as often as we could and then when I turned 20 I married him so that no one could tell me I couldn't sleep with him! All in all though it wasn't all fireworks and angelic music playing I have never regretted my decision.

I was always into experimenting. Queen of BJ's and teasing but I could never quite commit to going "all the way". I was really nervous about the entire concept of sex. I masturbated a good bit so I knew I wouldn't have to worry about the hymen issue.

My bf and I were parked in a secluded lot behind a church that was being re-constructed. By bf I mean best friend, who happened to be a guy. I had gone shopping that day and bought tons of cute undies and was talking about them. Jokingly he asked to see a pair on, but I sort of knew he just wanted me naked. I kind of wanted to play around as well; I was comfortable with him, curious about sex, I found him attractive, and I trusted him.

One thing led to another and we wound up having awkward car sex. The kind where you worry someone will drive by and see your white ass shining through a window or something. The condomn came off when he pulled out so we both got extrememly freaked out. That's one way to get a reality check at 16. Thankfully there were no consequences. It wasn't great, or even good really. It was two first timers who had no clue what sex could, or even should be. If I had it to do over again I definitely would have chosen a better location/setting/etc.. . but I was a young and having fun. Thank gawd my ass didn't get struck by lightning!
