I was 14. But it was kind of a "just for a minute, just to see how it feels" situation. It was good, even though we didn't come anywhere near anyone finishing.. and we actually didn't at all until two years later. We justified it as "well we didn't FINISH, so it technically doesn't count!" 'cause... teenagers =P
But it was really nice, anyway. He was my first boyfriend, and we're still together right now.

I was 18, and my boyfriend and I had been going out for 8 months when we decided to have sex. It was the end of my first week of college in his apartment bedroom. It hurt, and it didn't last long (I was his first too)...but it's been almost 3 years and we're still together. Btw, the sex is much, MUCH better now.

It was the fourth day of my honeymoon. It hurt so crazy much that I couldn't keep from crying so he pulled out after like 8 seconds and I curled up into a ball and cried for about half an hour......how magical.

I believe that virginity is lost progressively.

You are no longer a "virgin" in general once you have started participating in sex acts (if somebodys getting off, it counts), but each sex act is it's own level of virginity. You lose your manual virginity (working someone off with your hands, vice versa), oral virginity, intercourse virginity (vaginal or anal, or both if ya got 'em), etc.

15. She was in a bad marriage (36 OR SO). Loved it and her. I did not have intercourse (I was the like you as a friend, guy. I hated that) again till I was 27 married. Now divorcing, never cheated and it has been 4 + years. And I want a girlfriend, I just don't have the luck. And, I think I am a nice guy, funny. But I am BROKE. Unemployed, yah; what a catch! Huh. The first time is kinda funny. I was 16 and he was 17. We had been dating for a few months and thinking back we weren't in love, but at the time we thought we were. It was in the backseat of a blazer overlooking a lake at night. Not too romantic, and it hurt like hell. He didn't realize I was a virgin so he didn't break the hymen that night, but the next time we were together he did. We had a lot of fun those couple years we were dating. It's amazing what kind of places you will have sex when you're young and have no privacy.

19 and still a virgin. For any kind of sexual intercourse, which is the common definition you are going for, for virginity, I'm still a virgin. Although, I've been masturbating since I was 12. I've also never been in a relationship though. I felt like back in primary and secondary school days no one took love seriously, which I always have, and didn't want my first time or relationship, for that matter, to be anything but sensual and loving. I'm very surprised by this poll, I must say. Not in a bad way, of course (well, maybe except the 12 and under ). But I do wonder if this is pretty accurate nationwide.

Oh and I gotta say that everyone that selected "virgin" has impressed me that they are still so in touch with themselves to really own in and to be on this site. Props to you!

I was 14. My boyfriend was 16. we did it on a bunk bed haha, his cousin later ended up with that bed and I just thought that was hilarious. Anyways, first time wasnt too bad. It hurt, but it wasnt the most awful thing ever since we had already been fingering and things like that. I don't even remember the first time I had sex, since it was so unspectacular. It was just with my first boyfriend, when we were around 14. His dick was actually too big for me then, and still is now, lol. Sex was always a bit painful with him. :p
