BASIC ROLES IN BDSM
Dominant: The person in control of a standard D/s relationship, usually in a position of power over a submissive(s)
Submissive: Person who submits or yields to a Dominant in a D/s relationship.
Top: Someone who enjoys dominating a person during a play session, but isn't necessarily interested in living the D/s lifestyle
Bottom: Someone who enjoys submitting to a person during a play session, but isn't necessarily interested in living the D/s lifestyle
Switch: An individual who has both Dominant and submissive qualities and enjoys playing on both ends of the spectrum.
Kinkster: Individual who has an interested in BDSM play but isn't necessarily interested in living the BDSM lifestyle. Mostly people who identify as tops, bottoms, or bedroom players only.
Which do you identify as? Where do you feel you fit in this spectrum, if you feel you fit these definitions at all? Are any of you involved in D/s relationships? Bedroom relationships? less

I'm a Kinkster who usually identifies as a Top, but I'm starting to become a Switch. Be on the lookout for a blog post to the Cafe as soon as I write it.
