I usually just tell them, then reinforce with moaning and showing how much I enjoy what they do.

my partner and i are very direct about what we want and dont want, and often talk about it, but reading each others body language and helping by guiding them are also ways we show each other what we like or do not like during sexual encounters.

Hopefully if you're in a relationship with someone, you've already established what you both like and have everything pretty much down. With a more casual partner, I like to discuss mutual likes and dislikes up front, before I commit to having sex. Nothing worse than having "mystery sex" with someone and finding out that you're not compatible.
