Weapons you can get on Amazon.com and The Sangria Seduction is Teddy's story that is included in Can't Help The Way That I Feel.

That's a great answer nonetheless, and pretty much the same thing I would do

I totally wrote erotica as a preteen. Loved it. Just didn't have it published. And hid it from my parents (obviously).

I do for sure. I am like oh damn, I have to try that. It's always fun too. I am inspired by erotic acts in books and then try it out on my partner. The best part about it, he has no idea. He is not much of a reader like me, and he thinks I came up with this great idea to spice our sex life up.

Are you talking about my story Sangria Seduction in Lori's Anthology or my poetry called "To C From G"?

I tried once or twice, then felt really silly and stopped. Although I have been thinking about giving it another shot

Love it! When I was in my early twenties, I would 'novelize' my journal entries. Write whatever happened to me but in prose. I did that with some evenings with my boyfriend. I guess that was my first venture into erotic writing!

I always laugh when I walk down the literature aisle at WalMart. There's always a clear difference on which books are for whom. I say they should just blend it all together if its all got to do with love and relationships. It seems like they stocked the books by what was on the cover instead of what was inside of them.

That's awesome. Now that I'm old enough, I've published some erotica on my blog, but nothing professionally. I keep wanting to submit to an actual anthology, but I haven't really found one that suits my personality yet. I don't want to submit some boring, vanilla-esque story. I want to have a decent plot or something (which is what I enjoy reading in stories) which I haven't come up with yet.

Oh - Hopeless - we should have been more specific. Sangria Seduction appears in
The Sangria Seduction appears in Can't Help the Way That I Feel and Pheraoh's Phallic appears in Making the Hook-Up!

this is a question for everyone:

what do you do when you have multiple story ideas in your mind?

Hmmm. Maybe I'll follow in your footsteps then. (I totally own Fairy Tale Lust now, but I haven't been able to read it yet)

I don't normally get them specifically for erotica, but if I can't jot them down on paper somewhere I make a reminder in my phone that sums up the idea I had in my head.

I was thinking of Teddy's story. With its poetry. It reminded me of Jean Toomer's Cane. Same feel, same flavor.

That's so wise to be concerned about story and plot. So many who want to enter the erotica game only worry about the sex and you really need both.

You certainly may! I strongly believe that when we tune out the external influences and look inward, we discover what we're meant to do (and write).

I believe we'll be discussing Fairy Tale Lust in September, so hopefully you'll get a chance to read it by then. Would love to hear what you think!

I try to do the same, but sometimes, I will write a story, erotica and not, and get them mixed up.

For the Deadpoet, when you have multiple stories in your head, I write them down. I keep an idea book and a dream journal. I've done that for years. Some of the stuff looks like Kafka or Marquez. LOL.
