No. We keep one in the bedroom closet for those "just in case we want to watch porn" moments, but that's it.
Is there a TV in your bedroom?
03/05/2013
Yes
03/05/2013
Nope, no tv in the bedroom. I do like to fall asleep to music or a familiar tv program on my laptop sometimes though.
03/05/2013
Yes but we never use it.
03/05/2013
Yes, we do.

No TV in my room, I need it to be quiet to sleep.
It's not uncommon for me to still be awake with the TV on for background noise at 4AM though.

Yes, we have a TV in our bedroom and its where the bulk of our TV watching happens since our kids have taken over our living room.
03/06/2013
No.
03/06/2013
Yep. It's totally necessary.
03/06/2013
Indeed there is, but I haven't even had it plugged in in over 3 months.
03/06/2013
I don't right now, but I used to. Plan on getting another one soon.

I don't have one, and when I did at home it was just for DVDs and video games. It wasn't connected to any actual channels.

I have always loved watching my last hour of tv in bed... When I finally get sleepy I can turn off the tv or just set the sleep timer....

I have a tv in my room. I use it to play video games and watch Netflix. If i'm not sleeping with my fan on, I use my tv as the background noise.
03/06/2013
I don't play it while I am sleeping
03/06/2013
We have one and I'm the one who demands it. My husband hates that I sleep with the TV on and complains about it all the time. It's habit now, and I simply cannot fall asleep without it on. I will literally lie there all night, thinking.

Yes, it's been there for years. We have one in the living room toom. It's new. We dont have Directv on the one in the bedroom, it just sits there in case we want to watch a movie (i.e. porn!)

I was at work earlier (a hotel), and I found it amazing, while walking by rooms, the number of rooms that had TVs on at four in the morning. Thus, I assume that most of those people turned on the TV to listen to while they slept (or fell asleep while watching it). So it leads to this question.
Some studies have shown that having a television in your bedroom actually can disrupt your sleeping patterns. When the body gets accustomed to using the bed for things other than sleep, that internal memory can actually keep us from getting to sleep. It's amazing how the mind works.
The boyfriend and I just have the single TV in the living room. Nothing in the bedroom but bookshelves (and at the moment) a sex swing stand. No particular reason for the lack of a TV - just seems silly for the bedroom.
So do you keep a TV in your bedroom? Yes or No? And any reason behind it? less

I really want to put it in another room. And keep the bedroom for intimacy and cuddling! But a tv for porn is ok.

No TV but since my laptop stays mostly on my bed... Hulu is always a click away.
03/06/2013
Yes
03/06/2013
Nah, I have my laptop.

We do but we never use it for "watching TV" it's an older tv and it's in our bedroom because our office doesn't have room for it. We use it to play old console games (gamecube, playstation.) so it just hangs out in the corner taking up space and dust. I mainly use my iPhone/iPad to watch a Netflix show as i fall asleep because i like to have the background noise and it will automatically shut off after the episode is done. But my boyfriend on the other hand (against my fervent wishes otherwise) forgets to put something on that stops streaming when it's over and i will wake up at odd hours hearing something, then i will listen and i can hear (laughing, talking) what have you at a very quiet level but now that i've herd it i can not go back to sleep until it's off, it's like a little bug buzzing in my ear and it drives me nuts. So i have to slip out of bed, creep around the bed, turn on the hall light (in case he wakes up with me standing next to him futzing with his iPad and freaks out thinking i'm a murderer or something.) and walk over and oh so gently pick up his iPad and turn the web show he has streaming off, put the iPad gently back down, creep back over and turn off the hall light and slip back into bed. It is very annoying and happens more often than it should. Sorry that's my rant lol.

Yep. I didn't used to sleep with the T.V. on, but my husband did. So after 6 years of it, I need it too. Plus it drowns out the sound of my vibrator when he's sleeping. lol
