I have my one from my college dorm in my room, but I never use it 'cause it's wicked tiny. J has a TV in his room that we use to watch movies in bed (I usually fall asleep anyway) and he plays his Xbox on.
Is there a TV in your bedroom?

I need a tv in my room. I love to relax in bed. Also, at night, I put the volume on low and fall asleep to the slight noise of the tv.

My computer is far more addicting than the TV. I do not have a TV in my room now, but the house I am moving into does have an extra television in my room. I shouldn't be using it, because I know the amount of sleep I will loose, but I can't help it.

Sigel has never wanted nor permitted a tv in the bedroom. He feels a bedroom is for sleeping or fucking. Since I agree with him it's not really an issue.
Arch doesn't have a problem with a tv in the bedroom but would prefer it in the livingroom and won't allow it to be on while he sleeps.

We have a tv in the bedroom, but the only time it comes on is when my wife watches a Friends episode while drying her hair.
We also use it occasionally for music during sex since we don't have a portable stereo.

I have one in there but I dont leave it on while I sleep. I watch it for a bit before bed then I turn it off. Once in a very blue moon I will actually pass out with it on but it is rare.

I do have a TV in my room. It started after surgery when I was bedridden for several months and I got used to it. I do sometimes use it as background noise to fall asleep to but make sure to set the sleep timer or it'll wake me up later on. I find it helpful when I can't sleep.

For me, there's no reason for a tv in my room. I don't spend that much time in there besides sleeping. If I get the urge to watch something or listen to music, I grab my iPod.

We do have a television in the bedroom. However, we try to always set the sleep timer to keep it from waking us in the middle of the night.

I have a TV in my bedroom and watch to fall asleep to. Once I'm tired enough, I turn it off, put in my ear plugs and fall asleep.

I don't have a television, but I would like to have one. I enjoy cuddling up on the bed and watching a movie.

There's a TV in our bedroom. It's only use is to play our old-school 1985 Nintendo. We have a larger TV in the living room with a cable hook-up that we use to watch television.

Some studies have shown that having a television in your bedroom actually can disrupt your sleeping patterns. When the body gets accustomed to using the bed for things other than sleep, that internal memory can actually keep us from getting to sleep. It's amazing how the mind works.
The boyfriend and I just have the single TV in the living room. Nothing in the bedroom but bookshelves (and at the moment) a sex swing stand. No particular reason for the lack of a TV - just seems silly for the bedroom.
So do you keep a TV in your bedroom? Yes or No? And any reason behind it? less

We have a tv in our room but it's rarely used. Since my mother moved in after a bad fall hubby likes to watch what he wants to watch up there but mostly it's off. Other then that the only time it's really been used is when I was on bed rest during my last pregnancy or if a lil one is pestering me on a Saturday morning then they get cartoons.

My fish tanks create a lull of white noise for me, and I usually watch stuff on my computer anyways if I am in my room at night. Maybe I should of put yes? Well, technically no is right because you asked about a TV, not computer But it does indeed disrupt my sleep. I very rarely fall asleep with a movie on or anything like that

I think I would go crazy without my TV in my bedroom.

I have a TV in my room...but it's for movies and video games. It's never on while I sleep. I do leave a fan on for "white noise" though.

I have a portable DVD player. I just use it to watch old stuff until I'm so sleepy I can't stay awake. Otherwise, I'd be up all night with my mind racing.

yes i have to have one in my room

I can't sleep with a TV on, I have to have the fan on though.

I don't have a tv in my room, but I'll sometimes put a dvd in my laptop or stream something on netflix to help me fall asleep.
04/04/2011
Most definitely and I wouldn't be without it!
04/04/2011
I have one mostly because I live with roomies so my room is almost my home
04/04/2011
i spend most the day in my bedroom!
04/06/2011
No and we never will. The bedroom is for sleeping, sexy time, and relaxation. The living room is for TV.
04/06/2011
Yup we have a Tv and a DVD player all for our own personal and pleasureable usage.
04/09/2011
can't fall asleep without it!

Same here. TV is in the living room, we watch it there when we have the chance, which is not very often. It is primarily to play movies. In the bedroom, that is our sanctuary...in fact, although we are in a poly relationship, only she and I are allowed to use our bed. The guest bed is for the extracurricular activities!

Absolutely not. We lead crazy busy lives, and I try to make our bedroom into something of a sanctuary-- sleep and sex only. Don't get me wrong, I definitely love my TV, but I don't need constant background noise.

I have one in my room but it hardly ever gets turned on
