The Screen Writers Club, what's it all about? Well, this club is an exciting concept that begins with you, the community. We will be meeting for one hour a month and creating a short dialogue about our community that will be turned into a 3-4 minute movie. This movie will then be posted on our Eden Tube site for the world to see!

It's very simple really, all you have to do is show up and discuss what makes our community unique and how we can showcase this for the rest of the world. We will decide on a theme and then write dialogue for the movie. That's it! There are no time consuming stories to write or anything outside of the monthly meeting to do! I will be putting together the movie and doing all the 'grunt' work for the community and then you all get the credit.

At each monthly meeting we'll discuss ways our community is unique and brainstorm some ideas about how to show the world about us. We'll write some dialogue, discuss characters and background sets and talk about future themes. It should be a fun time for all and we can be as silly, or serious as we want to be.

Welcome to the first meeting of the Eden Fantasys Screen Writers Club!

Let's all get comfortable, grab a drink (coffee is fine it's a bit early for the harder stuff), check out My solo attemptif you haven't already.

I know we can improve on my video and make this completely about the Eden Community.

Tonight we need to come up with some ideas for another 1-2 videos, maybe write some dialogue, decide on what could be great characters for those skits and maybe an idea about backgrounds. All in 1 hour! (We can take up to two hours actually...the community meeting isn't until 7pm)

Unfortunately the site XtraNormal is down for maintenance right now so I will have to describe what sorts of backgrounds are available and the types of characters.

Basically just about anything you can think of is available for set backgrounds. You can have skits containing one or two characters and the characters range from puppet style puppies to adults as detailed as what you might find on early editions of the Sims. The software doesn't allow for extremely fluid speech or for emoting through speech...it's pretty basic software. The characters can make gestures, stand up and sit down, you can change camera angles and play some background noises.

We can do just about anything we want except play around with underage type taboos and we should really stay away from really inflammatory content, we can do it but it might get a few raised eyebrows or be veto'd.

Since I know that ideas will come to people at the weirdest times I will leave the threads open and check them every day until the next meeting so please, write any ideas/dialogue you come up with here! I'll work quickly to get the ideas fleshed out and the movies made. Use me...I enjoy it!

Now on to you guys...I know that was a lot to read but I figured it would be a time saver to lay it all out on the table from the beginning.

I really liked your idea of having videos for the clubs too. I think there's a lot of potential there.

Good point. I'd want to double check everything with Victoria, but if it's something that's highlighting the clubs as opposed to like, a monthly video for each club, it should be fine. I obviously can't make any promises there tho.

OMG that would be great...my strength is situational comedy not dialogue. I mean the ridiculousness of two former Presidents meeting outside an important looking building to talk about prostates is my type of humor.

I? Have no video making strengths, lol. I do share the same kind of humor Airen does, and could perhaps contribute something that way.

That was my idea...a way to introduce the clubs to the community in a fun, entertaining way. Also a way for the club managers to graphically show off their clubs.

I agree, promoting the clubs is always good.

I also like WomanChina's idea for care and cleaning.
