How about I just say my favorite outfits for scenes?

I love Nazi paraphernalia, Nazi regalia. I just love the look of the uniforms from that period. There's also always the nurse/schoolgirl type of outfits that are fetishes for some.

Maids I think are big because of the service aspect of it more than working or demeaning.

I think yes and no. I used to surf around craiglist and read the maid ads people were looking to hire. A lot of them were really big on the demeaning part of it. More than I had originally thought.

There are some examples I've seen that are extremely nice, but it seems to be a controversial issue.

I find that to be unnecessary. If someone likes something, it's generally not to offend, it's just something you like. People just get in a tiff over nothing.

Not always, no. I do not know how a "servant" dresses, really. They may wear whatever I choose for them at the moment, it could be regular everyday clothing or something more cutesy like a traditional maid's outfit.

Or if you go into the whole teacher/student scenario, it's all about the authority figures again; either being one or being reprimanded by one. That's another way to look at it.
