It depends.

I guess "rope," but in some ways I don't consider it a toy. It feels super easy to get, almost vanilla, etc. and the rope I was given was two short maybe two-foot lengths of rope

Or animal ears, as I often wear them at play parties, but I don't wear them as pet play, just as something to wear.

Or a pink and white flogger. I feel like no one of those was my first, but that I sort of attribute them all as being firsts for different reasons

My first one was thigh stirrups.. Basically, a long belt with buckles to make loops out of on either side. You sling it over your shoulder, then put the other two ends around your thighs, and through the buckles at whatever tightness you want, to force your thighs open.

Mine were a couple low-cost E-stim products, I think the Elektra Rings and the Elektra pads. Thought I might like it after I noticed I was slightly aroused after static electricity shocks, and I'm glad to say I was right. Upgraded to the Eden Play and its accessories and never looked back.
