Definitely materials I will not buy. Jelly is a big no. And anything around that quality. I stick to the best materials I can like glass/silicone/vixskin things like that.
Are there ANY toy materials you ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BUY for any reason?

In short...even if there is a toy you think looks AMAZING...with great reviews, will you go.."ON NO...it's made of "X" material" and simply will NOT consider it?
What materials would those be? WHY would you NOT consider it? Perhaps MOST important, if possible, can you site the RESEARCH or SITE that made you worry about that material?
THANK YOU. less

I won't buy jelly anymore due to the safety issues. However, I have one jelly toy I CAN'T give up!

I hate jelly...and the bigger my toy collection gets, the more my few jelly toys get neglected...
I like silicone =)

No jelly or PVC. I don't want it on/in my body and I don't want to support the businesses that continue to produce it despite the many known issues.

No more jelly for me. I never really liked the smell or texture of jelly anyway.

Skin-like ones, jelly, rubber, or stainless steel. The first ones I was told was a no-no health wise. Stainless steel because I'm allergic to it. If I can't even wear it in my ears for 3 mins, I'm not putting anywhere near my junk.
I REALLY like silicone and will buy a few plastics here or there. My fav bullet and egg are plastic. I also want some glass ones but toys of good quality cost so much.

I don't buy jelly toys, EVER.

Jelly. Nothing jelly will ever get inserted in my vagina. EVER.

Once upon a time, the material wouldn't bother me. Now that I'm a little older and lean toward a more natural life style (whole foods, natural skin care, etc.), I take material safety very seriously. I won't buy jelly, and am unlikely to buy plastic, rubber, or skin-like toys without being very informed about them.

I will buy most toys, and if they are porous, I'll just cover them with a condom. However, I won't buy anything with latex anymore, since I recently discovered a latex allergy. Not worth the risk, to me.

I prefer toys with a rating of ten, but I will look in the eight to ten range. But even then, I've yet to let myself choose an eight.

I used to be willing to try anything, but I will not buy jelly toys anymore.

I heard alot about jelly (not good). It seems a little silly having to buy condoms period for a toy. I'm also latex sensitive as well and would hate to have to spend more money to use them.

And my partner is latex sensitive, so if I were using it with her ( and most of my toys get used more often in partnered sex than solo play) I'd have to use latex free condoms, which are really expensive. So I never buy jelly toys.
