Urgh! I've never used non-lube products. The idea alone makes me squirm, and not in a good way.

This is NOT a lubricant.

Other than spit, we've never used anything that wasn't intended as lube. That said, my hubby once told me of a girl he knew back in high school who would swear by using Palmolive (dish/hand soap, for those unfamiliar with it) as an anal lube.

What a bad bad idea

Nope and never will
08/15/2012
I must have a very resilient vajayjay because I have used many non lube lubes and never had an infection or irritation, lol!!

I don't go sticking anything I'm not sure about into my vagina, I'm way too sensitive for that.

Thankfully, we don't usually need lube for PIV intercourse, and anytime we've gone for anal, we've had lube handy.

That is just horrible. I know there are times where things cant just wait, but using something that is not meant for that reason expecially internal use is not such a smart idea.

WOW...
Has anyone used something as a lubricant that did work or even tell us what didn't. Has anyone wanted to suggest something that was really unsafe? less

I would hate to have a reaction, I'm prone to yeast infections so I stick to using only approved lubricants.
08/15/2012
I've used olive oil

I am just too scared for anything to go wrong in that area.

I've (in my younger years) used soap in the shower for anal, lotion for vaginal sex and crisco for fisting. None are a good idea but only had a problem with the lotion.

augh that sounds awful! We've never used anything but lube, but my partner said his ex used LOTION on him :'( That is NOT meant to go up your butt.
12/01/2012
Yes, I've used non lube products with no problem

Ergh, the original post is pretty cringe-worthy.
I mean, shampoo? Really? Even some true lubricant products give me some grief once they get inside of me, so I don't want to imagine how that felt.
As for non-lubricant products as lubricant... Generally, natural oils like olive and coconut are pretty nice, and nourishing to boot! Don't worry, I'm talking strictly solo anal play here. If I ever were to receive penetrative sex, it would have to be silicone for the condom's sake. (Sigh. If only the lube that irritates me the least could be paired with the toy material that pleases me most... It's no wonder people get 'creative' with their lube.)

I hate even thinking about how much pain and in bad shape she must've been after that. Popular shampoo isn't even 100% good for our hair, so internally, I'm not surprised that happened. I just picture burning and awful things when I think about what she must've gone through.. Some lubes aren't expensive, so if you aren't in a rush, I'd stick to using stuff that's made to be used during sex. Yikes.
12/02/2012
I prefer to not sacrifice and use non-lubes
12/02/2012
ouch!
12/02/2012
Oh god, no, I haven't and I never will. Maybe something like coconut oil or something that is non-irritating and doesn't contain scary chemicals.
12/02/2012
I don't often need lube, but when I do I always use actual lube. Not always for sex purposes either. It's great for getting in bigger jewlery if you're tapering or stretching a hole.
12/02/2012
I would never. Never, never, never. Maybe if it was a safe kind of oil (I think I've heard that people like coconut oil), but there is no way in hell I would ever consider using shampoo as anal lube, or putting my scented lotions all over my toys, or anything like that.

I haven't ever used anything as lube that wasn't lube.
12/03/2012
used soap on myself alone... not a great feeling later.
12/03/2012
No, I would not risk something like that!
12/03/2012
Ouch, wow, no. I stick to things that I know are made to put in my body, thanks.
12/03/2012
I hope the shampoo was worth it...
Anyway, no. I have never used anything outside of the spectrum of "sexy time lubes" to do the deed. I'm never that desperate. Target/Walmart/CVS aren't that far.
