No way.

This is NOT a lubricant.

Soap. It wasn't MY idea!
01/31/2012
that just sounds horribly painful to me

WOW...
Has anyone used something as a lubricant that did work or even tell us what didn't. Has anyone wanted to suggest something that was really unsafe? less

Wow that sounds like a bad idea.
02/01/2012
never ever
02/01/2012
I can't believe someone would actually use shampoo... I've heard of people using Crisco and Vaseline, but I'd never do that either. I'm sticking to lubes that ARE lubes.
02/01/2012
Using soap as lube just makes me think of poorly researched fanfic.
02/01/2012
I'm sure a dude could use shampoo without a problem, but my vag hurts just thinking about it...
03/11/2012
Oh god, the horror stories in this thread. *shudders* I'll stick with organic, water based lube!
03/11/2012
I've only used Lotion as a Non-Lube,and it's not that bad,but i would NEVER use anything else other than a regular, safe lubricant! I ain't that stupid.
03/11/2012
I have heard of people using hair gel.
03/11/2012
ickk!
04/26/2012
doesn't sound like fun. I have plenty of lube around, so I have never even tried anything else
04/26/2012
I've seen it recommended by things like cosmo before for shower sex, but it never occurred to me to actually try them, thank goodness. Back before I smartened up we just never used lube at all, even for anal, which wasn't a ton of fun but at least it wasn't grape jelly *shudder*
The worst thing I've heard of as lube was in a hentai where they used melted sugar. Strangely no one was burned or at all hurt by it.

haha really funny post! Poor girl. I thankfully havnt had anything like that happen
05/04/2012
conditioner works
05/20/2012
I don't mind jacking off with conditioner, but I have tried shampoo and it got in my peehole and burned for hours, eventually i got over it
05/21/2012
never!
05/21/2012
Yeah; IcyHot is not lube. Not ever. Luckily, I was young enough to have made this mistake alone, rather than with a partner, although I was dumb enough to try masturbating with it in the first place. Never again. Thirteen was an age at which I was not the brightest crayon in the box.
I have used Dr Bronner's soap as a masturbatory aid (rarely on myself but more frequently on my boyfriend) in the shower from time to time; all it seems to do side-effects wise is make you tingly and cold after you rinse it off. Ah, peppermint oil.

I've used this skin oil stuff once, it had only 2 ingredients: cyclopentasiloxane (commonly main ingredient in silicone lubes) and vitamin E. But that was before I actually had lube, and I looked the ingredients up in advance.

But the most adventurous we have been about lubricant(other then lubricant) is the good head gel(which hey, is basically the same thing) Usually we don't need anything though.

yes but never internally or with a partner.

We have used coconut oil before too. Don't have to worry about condom compatibility.
