Would you knowingly contract herpes for 20mil dollars?

Contributor: sexygoddess sexygoddess
What do you all think about this? There's an "unknown" a-list actor being sued by someone for 20mil for contracting herpes from said actor. Apparantly there's a video of them doing all sorts of things and I guess the actor says he has no disease. Sounds kinda fishy to me.. but.. what do you guys think?

While its not ever going to happen, 20 mill for a minor skin irritation that occasionally flares up for a week or so and is easily controlled with medication....I have to say I would be seriously tempted. For 20 mill I bet I could get cutting edge medical care too.

Maybe, I'd do more research first.

I would never gamble with my health and it is irresponsible to say the least to endanger the health of your current and/or future lover(s)

Maybe. If it was a guaranteed 20 mil and private, unlike a civil suit would be. There are worse STDs, and medicine is improving all the time. $20 million is a lot.

I have a friend that has sores and when ever she gets a flare up it just really sucks a lot for her and she has been dealing with this for many years. She didn't contract it sexually but still, it really sucks. So my answer would be no.

That's a lot of money, but it isn't worth the responsibility. I would not want to put future partners at risk, especially if we reached a point in our relationship where condoms weren't the preferred form of birth control.

No, I would never do that. Not for the risk to my own health, and as Narcissistic Lust said for the health of my partner either.

Um, yeah, no way. Not to mention the flare-ups can be painful, but once you have it, i never ever goes away. Good luck finding a partner that would want to have intercourse with you knowing that there is a significant chance at some point they would be infected too.

Sounds a bit too close to prostitution for me (in a sense you're being paid for having sex).

No thanks. Aside from one UTI and a few yeast infections I've remained unscathed by the various ick out there and tend to keep it that way.
