I don't see how grits are weird...Just a lot of people who don't live on the east coast have never tried them. I eat grits all the time! A little eggs, salt, butter, and toast?

You could have gotten weirder with this list.

Spicy pork rinds on long car trips is a tradition, and I use to love peanuts in diet coke...I'd pour them all right into the can.

I like pork rinds and white castle, but I've also tried grits. I ticked both from the North and the South - spent eight years in the North, going on three years in the south, and about a decade outside the US.

peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. I love them. Before I was ever pregnant I loved them. The sweet pb and the salty/sour pickles is delish.
