I eat a lot of food that's considered weird by most westerners. Sweetbread, pig/ox brain, tongues, chicken feet, etc. Actually, as long as the ingredients are cooked with a good recipe, it's delicious! Got to be adventurous or else we'll miss out on a lot of good foods!

The only one I do not know about is the Salted Peanuts IN Coca-Cola, but it sounds good.

Do you like Rocky Mountain Oysters? Anyone?
Oh gosh Rocky Mountain Oysters! Certainly know of them, probably will never have the "balls" to try them.

Can't you cook it yourself? I don't think it's that hard.

Good to have another Oregonian in this community!

I love gizzards too - I usually ask my local Safeway deli to deep-fry them for me.

I used to love pork rinds but I don't eat conventional meat anymore. I suppose I could make my own from pastured pork skin.

LOL I don't think sanitation is an issue. Salt kills bacteria.

I put that I'm from the North and the South because I was born in Missouri but have been living in Louisiana since the age of 6. Most people would say that's long enough to say that I'm "from" here, but my family has always cooked food they way they ate growing up, so I'm still not always accustomed to Cajun food.

Salted peanuts in Coke is a baseball tradition. It's so you can cheer and have both your coke and your peanuts in one go. I'm from Atlanta, I know we don't have White Castle, but they're the Northern version.

I was raised on Cajun cooking and I can't stand the stuff.
