way before. It takes a little bit for the water to get warm.
Do you turn the water on before or after you get in the shower?

ALWAYS before, it'd be hell to stand there getting drenched and frozen while it heats up!

I turn the water on before I get in the shower.

It never occurred to me that you could do it the other way, but it makes a lot more sense! If you turn the water on before you get in, the water gets warm, the shower itself gets warm, and it doesn't matter if someone left the shower on instead of turning it to the faucet.
What about you? Do you turn the water on then step into the shower or step into the shower then turn the water on? less

I turn it on before, especially in the winter as it takes a bit to warm up and that water is FREEZING.

I turn the water on, but don't switch it over to the shower once I'm actually in there. My boyfriend doesn't understand why, because I always get that initial shock of cold water. Stuck in my ways, I guess.

Turn it on and let it get warm first!

It's getting cold out there. Don't forget to run the shower before you get in or you will face a not so nice morning surprise.

I turn on the water and then get in the shower. I kinda thought everyone did that. Interesting that isn't the case.

I have to at least let it warm up a little before I get in. I don't usually wait till it's up to the optimum temperature but it's not completely icicles either.
