Yeah, it's all based on a 5 point system. A 5 star and a 1 star are going to average a 3.

I agree. I fing that the Eden Tube is a bit harder to navigate because it is a bit harder to determine what is there for reviews.

That still doesn't make sense. The "top rated" all time has an average of 5 stars but only 5 votes? And the #12 all time has only 1 vote?

For me, it is probably Gunsmoke. The reason I say that is that even though he's a guy working with woman's products - he shares about it from his perspective and then he will give an example of another product. For instance, "This didn't work as well for my wife as that because of size/texture".

Once again - I'm sure my perspective is different from a lot of folks because we've only used toys for almost a month now.

Tuesday is also very influential with me.

I love it when reviewers compare the product though with another product.

I don't know if I can pick just one---it's changed a little as I've grown as a reviewer, and there are people who influence me more based on the product type.

A few reviews that have really stood out to me were Owl Identified's "Like the French Do" of the Little Hottie, and Miss Voluptuous' of her nipple clamps, her Roulette vibe, and ... another that's skipping my mind. I also love ToyTimeTim's scientific, curious mind and materials mastery.

The reviews that have inspired me most are the ones that have a little bit of story, or a little bit of meta-analysis beyond just "the toy is pink and hard!" Miss Voluptuous' Roulette review really talked about how the scroll wheel vs. an on-off button changed the way she used vibrators, and I thought it was awesome.

I also appreciated how Indiglo followed up with me privately about an item I'd bought due to her review (I'd mentioned it) and asked how I liked it.

Gunsmoke and Tuesday are favorites of mine, too---they both do a great job integrating their thoughts with the important facts about products.

That's a toughie because I think a lot of people influence me. If I had to pick one, I think I would have to say Tim because we share similar interests in toys and of course we are friends. The main reason I admire him as a reviewer is his voice in his reviews. He has such an ease in the way he writes and relays information that it is like sitting down with an old friend. My own reviews are so different and my biggest concern is getting bogged down in technical details.

Of course I am going to say Viktor M--my young mentor. I read several of his reviews for inspiration and he was spot on with critiques of my writing--both posiive and negaive, but always in a relaxed manner. I also like reading the reviews of Alan and Michelle (couple) because while the may gush over an item's wonders, they usually include an opposing comment, so their reviews always seem unbiased.

Yeah, I've enjoyed T3's reviews since he started. I've been keeping my eye on him since he set one of my fave. lubes on fire!

Love Tim's reviews but he doesn't usually review products I'd use. With that said, whenever I see he's got a new review up - I try to go there and read it and vote.

I think Alan and Michele were one of the first couple reviewers on site. They've been around longer than I have!

Hmm, this is a really hard question for me. A lot of people have influenced my reviews through feedback on older reviews. And I suck at reading all the reviews we have coming in now

When I started it was Gary, ScottA and Carrie Ann. Now I would say Sam, Kindred, Alan and Michele and Liz Nume. I get good ideas about descriptions from Sam and Kindred (I am no wordsmith) I get ideas about "Her" view points from Alan and Michele and Liz always gave me inspiration on lingerie.

There is a bunch more but those stand out the most.
