You absolutely should get tested to make sure that your hormones aren't the culprit, but also understand that your most potent sex organ, your brain, my be caught up in thinking about everything but sex. Your body too is different, and I'm sure with six kids, you're tired as hell!
One thing I tell my clients in your situation is first, Keep the power over your sex life. That often means redefining what sex means in your relationship. Keeping the intimacy alive through kissing, cuddling and mutual masturbation can be just enough when you're just not physically or mentally capable.
Plan a sexcation (a weekend dedicated to sex) and consider creating your own Lust For Me holiday that celebrates your desire for each other. Pick any nondescript holiday or make your own date and build your sexy traditions around it. I have one couple who exchange adult toys on their lust for me day!
In the Power of WOW I also have some simple seduction tips to keep the sexy alive that don't take a lot of effort but have maximum effect.
Don't beat yourself up, find ways to change your sexitude. It will change your sex life!

Honestly, I have tried all that stuff, but yes, I have 6 kids, a full time job, a blog and no time. I don't enjoy sex if I am not in the mood, and I can't get in the mood by going "We're GOING to do it NOW" it doesn't do it for me. I am not sure how to go about doing the sexcation, since we have no family to babysit for us.
