I liked that, because if you can't have sex with a stranger on the beach in a book, when *can* you have sex with a stranger on a beach?
(Oh, god, all those strangers on beaches I've had sex with are going to start posting comments, now, aren't they?) less

Top Kat, it suggests you like a sexy alien? I, for one, thought Jeff Goldblum was total hotness in that!

(I do plead guilty, though, to writing outdoor/woodsy sex scenes without ever mentioning the mosquitoes. Although I did once incorporate black fly bites into an S/M scene.)

::hugs:: I'm sorry. I have a little of the same problem, actually, but not as bad. Maybe you can work on teaching your imagination not to censor itself. Sort of like desensitization training.

I think it was just the way the conversation ran, very angry and matter of fact. No sex whatsoever, just angry conversation, and frightened contemplation. It wasn't feel good at all.

One thing I really appreciated about the Eden Fantasys reviews of the book were how detailed the reviews are. Readers really take their jobs seriously and give a lot of details to the write-ups. The other thing that I found interesting is how varied the audience is. One reviewer could not stand One Hot Slut. The next reviewer listed that story as the best in the book. I love that!
A story *everyone* seemed to enjoy was Sommer Marsden's Fire Woman.
That girl can sizzle anyone's page.

Yes- Roman numerals only for skippable stuff, I think you are correct.

I read it all, but I do think that for people who don't always, the roman numerals just helps them to skip ahead. So if you don't want that, then I would suggest using regular numbers.

I got a letter early on by a Dom who told me I'd written a BDSM scene incorrectly. It was funny because he was so upset by something I'd written he couldn't get off. Even funnier, the scene was non-fic. So "incorrect" wasn't exactly the right word. Apparently, we just did it differently. Heh.

Oh, it won't be that long before Kristina is back, jumping at the chance to reassert the non-mama aspects of herself. In any case, I often hang around here unless I'm in my mountain retreat with an excruciatingly slow dial-up connection.

We got in a mess of ticks, visiting a relatives farm in Missouri. It was horribly unsexy scanning eachothers bodies trying to get the little creeps off and praying that we didn't get sick.
