My proposal is to vote by autor rather than by topic or story by story. That way EVERYONE will get one piece in the book. less

We could add that choices could include resolutions, looking ahead or reflecting?

hmm... that could work. but then not EVERYONE would get a piece, just the ones who were voted in. and from there how would you vote on pieces?

If we go by auther than everyone would get at least one piece in the book. we would list the stories/poems submitted by each author and ask the community to vote on their favorite one. That one goes into the book and if a person ony wrote one piece then it's automatically in.

I think she meant every outhor would be represented and people would vote on which of that author's stories would be in the book.

ps if you need someone to help edit pieces for punctuation, etc, or help you organize them, my hand is up!

I think this is not a bad idea, but would there be enough for the book? What if you opened the voting up and said the top stoty by each author gets in and then the top voted stories including multiples to fill out the book?

OK cool Ill get my master list and get the voting started. After we get the community's choices we'll decide how to handle chapters and stuff. We'll have better idea how many authors we have towork with as well...we have over 100 pieces to consider! Not too shabby I think.

I'll be asking if we need it! There's SO much work left to do even if most of it will be handled by EF staff.

That sounds good. I like the idea of everyine being represented and deciding the chapters/categories after the selections are made.

But...if you like lionheads...maybe you'll like Miss Bea (she passed away a couple of years ago).

That was her bondmate - Tiny...a flemish giant.

Absolutely Cedar if we need more filler we'll eiter revote or just choose the second most popular and so on. We also have a problem with stories that are continuations. we got into that for a few months last year. So if those get voted we may need authors to either crop or make each piece stand alone. I think that'll be easier decided after the voting....no sense making more work if those stories don't even make the cut, ya know?

Awwwww I've always wanted a bunny. I want one of the larger breeds sice I have a large cat and the bunny would need to believe it's 10 foot tall and bullet proof. I know cats and bunnies can get along just fine...my cousin always had them both LOL

Hey Guys, just a little push for another event we have here at EF Eden Gives Back we are looking for families who might need some help this Christmas. Now the program doesn't advertize for EF so there's no need to feel like people are gonna look at you funny its just something the community would like to see become an every year thing. You simply either find a family or an organization that takes donations for a family and donate a sackor two of groceries/clothing/gif ts whatever the family needs or organization asks for all paid for by the folks here at EF. Then we donate points to the cause.
Sam could really use some help on this one...and it's a good thing.
