Round-ups are definitely good for getting your name out there, but you want to make sure that you offer tons of ways for your readers to follow you. I prefer learning about new posts through Twitter, but others prefer other methods! Being on social networks is definitely a good thing if you can handle it. Nothing is worse than a dead social media account! So if all you can handle is Twitter, stick with that, but if you could add Facebook onto the mix, definitely add that in. Popular social media networks include Facebook, Twitter, Fetlife, and Tumblr. Do be careful as Facebook is very careful about adult content, so watch your wording when you post on there. The other networks are much more open to it though.

You may think your awesome enough to make a person who doesn't use Twitter sign up just to follow you, but in many cases, it just won't happen. Saturdays are recap days, Sundays are for more spiritual concepts, Marriage Matters Mondays (dealing with marriage issues and being in favor of working through the "matters", can be applied to any relationship, really), What Not To Do Tuesdays (sex toy fails), Wordless Wednesdays/Happy Hump Day (thinking about doing Wanton Wednesday now that I know about it), Thursdays are date night ideas, Fridays are scheduled reviews. twitter is huge for getting more followers, I started out with like 20 followers from just a homeschooling site, and now I have nearly 600 including businesses and major bloggers. It absolutly helps get your blog more traffic and helps you find more resources. less

Fetlife's nice but I mostly use it to network with people I've met IRL at kinky events. It's sort of where my real life and my online persona cross over.

Yeah; I do too. I get a ton of sex-related e-mails, but all of my personal ones are just newsletters from clothes stores. I'm pretty boring ilke that.

I'd avoid putting too much into Facebook pages as Facebook really doesn't like adult content much. less

Yeah, it's funny because so far I've been really lucky with wordpress.com and facebook not having any issues. Weirdly enough, the one site that had problems was Alexa - I had a review that they still haven't managed to put through because it was screened for "language", i.e. saying I had a sex blog. less
