I mean for how many toys I have and for how cheap they are on Eden Fantasys I see no reason to ever get them from the store. especially since its more embarrassing...?
Would you buy toys at a pharmacy?

I almost got a vibrating ring from a pharmacy near me once and the only reason I didn't is because I figured I could find it for a better price on Eden, but I would totally go for it if they had one for a good price!

Before, condoms and lube were all kept in a small, locked case, so you had to ask for them, and the selection was very small. Now there's a big, open shelf and you can just grab what you need and the selection, while still not fantastic, is a lot bigger than it was. Imagine my surprise, though, when on the top shelf they now had a few traditional vibrators and some cock rings!
Now, obviously Eden is where I go for most of my quality supplies, but I'm stoked that if one of my traditional vibes dies on me I can just take a quick walk to get one if I don't want to wait for shipping. Would anyone else go to a pharmacy to get a cheap toy, if one near you sold them? Would you be too embarrassed? Or are you just patient enough to keep buying from here? less

I can't imagine that the toys sold by a pharmacy would be good enough quality for me to want to own them. The only way I can imagine myself doing this is if I had to travel somewhere and somehow forgot all my toys at home.
06/25/2012
I would feel a bit awkward doing it, but it's awesome that they're offering the choice!
06/25/2012
Interesting, I might check it out but probably not buy anything beyond condoms there.
06/25/2012
I would worry about the quality. I've gotten crummy cvs toys before.
06/25/2012
I would be /thrilled/ if that were the case where I live. But, there's laws in place prohibiting it, so I'm stuck to doing business online. Thank you for the heads up for if I'm out of state, though!
06/25/2012
I would but I would want to read reviews on them. So in the end I would end up on Eden, get sidetracked and buy something from Eden that was completely different and higher rated . lol

Aside from the new additions to local pharmacies, Pennsylvania has sex shops all over the place. Downtown Philadelphia has at least three (well-lit and very pleasant, I might add) within five blocks of one another, and I've seen several on the outskirts of various small towns.

It fucking rocks! Even if you prefer purchasing online, being able to look at the stuff first is just lovely. I'll give you a tour if you ever come to Philly.

toys are just to intimate for me to feel comfortable buying at the pharmacy.
I'll go get condoms if i have to, but i generally make my partner get them. I look to young to be having sex so I feel awkward buying them.

Yep, I've done it before.
07/05/2012
I just buy condoms and lube at the pharmacy.
07/05/2012
No way
07/05/2012
I generally don't buy anything from a pharmacy that isn't over a counter with a prescription. It just costs too much!
07/05/2012
Never. Way overpriced.
07/05/2012
I would buy one from the pharmacy if I wanted one.

considering that i went to school with the son of the woman that runs the register at our pharmacy, no. But that's just me.

It's good to have the option, but I doubt I ever would. I like Eden.
12/11/2012
I would, but only if the selection and prices were comparable to online.

Would you buy toys from spencers gifts? Well, what's any different than a pharmacy? I'm not embarrassed; I embrace my sexuality. No shame in getting a good quality toy- regardless of where it comes from!

Our local pharmacy sells vibrators but they are overpriced and a brand I'm not fond of, I am glad to see them for sale there though.
12/14/2012
The Rite Aid near my house sells a few vibrators, including the Trojan ones. They also have the "body massagers" right next to the sexual items. I wouldn't have a problem buying them there but I could probably find them cheaper elsewhere.

Yay! I'm not the only one who knows the proper plural for "octopus" ^-^

Toys, no. Lubes and/or condoms, yes.

I think it's really nice to have the option, but I don't think I would buy anything there. I know this is my own hang-up, but it's just too personal for me to buy a vibrator from a stranger. I'll stick to my blank box shipping.
I am glad the condoms and lubes are out of a glass box! I think it's important to have the basics available to everyone.
