It was the Doc Johnson White Knights Pleasure Kit, I still own it (it hasn't been all that long, to be honest), and I think it was a fine first purchase. I was bored of the slimline vibe pretty quickly, but the bullet and the pocket rocket are great, and I'll replace the bullet when it breaks.
What material was your first sex toy made out of?

A relatively cheap jelly toy was what we got first...naturally we've moved up in the world since then.

Fun Factory LayaSpot! I still love it.

My first sex toy was made entirely out of mattress...
(ok, that is not true, but I couldn't resist

It was a vibrator but I don't remember what exactly the material was. I think it may have been jelly. It lasted a good while but I eventually got rid of it once I moved on to other, better toys.

I was so young, it was 6 years ago, I think? It was a junky hard plastic slimline vibe. Super fucking loud, vibrations were shallow and inconsistent. It broke pretty quickly.
I have since discovered better hard plastic slimline vibrators, but for a long time I was just completely against them.

Yes, I can happily say that my first was silicone. Truly, my first sex PRODUCT though was leather, as I've had my own leather whips and floggers since I was around ten or so.

Mine was made out of that Velvet Cote, and it's still my favorite vibrator.

My first real toy was a UR3-skin pussy. Felt great with some lube. But the openings tore a little, though that didn't really affect how pleasurable the toy was to use.

Our first toy was a plastic dildo that took bog batteries, and quit early. The new ones on the market have so much detail, and little things that make them do so much. Things are way better now, for toys that is......

That toy died over 40 years ago. It was made of pressed plastic, with seams and some sharp edges I had to shave off. The new ones of today seem to have more consideration for the user incorporated, and they (some) are so realistic. I also believe the general attitude of the public is different than it was when I was 20, or 30, or 40, or 50........

Since I am not what you would call a very old fellow, I have to say... SoftTouch... I think...Its been awhile.

Jelly unfortunately! i am much better educated on materials now.

my bf just bought me my first toy thats on its way o me now =] v/ excited. it is a pink wonder made out of TPR and is apparently really soft and flexible, but still a relatively safe material.
i used the backside of a vibrating tooth brush for years as a clit stimulator, although i think its funny first , it has some really funny stories associated with it. Workes amazingly and i still have it =]

My first sex toy was a purple hard plastic My First Vibrator - lol! I loved that little toy and it's definitely better than some of the vibes I've used since - an excellent place to start, really. It came with it's own little cock-ring thing, too, but I lost that pretty quick. Whoops!

Jelly. It was Jenna's Ultimate Stroker.

Mine was a pink ribbed jelly dildo by DocJohnson. Was replaced for one in silicone after learning about sex toy materials.

Bullet for me (it died after 6 months)! Oh and the Endless Pleasure (which broke). Exchanged that for a Rabbit Pearl that I don't really use.

A cheap, pink plastic bullet which is still a favorite

Plastic, glow in the dark vibrator, similar in shape to the California Exotics Teaser. In fact, I think it was made by California Exotics, I'm just assuming they don't make that model anymore. I think it used to be called a G-Spot vibe.
It died after a while, and the control dial broke, kind of? Not sure how. It was like $15, so I didn't expect it to last long. Nothing phenomenal, but not bad.
Definitely don't have it anymore, but I think hard plastic is a pretty safe material.

It unfortunately didn't survive falling from the top of my loft bed.

Mine was the Penthouse G Spot Fantasy Massager. They've now upgraded it and sell it here on EF. It's pretty dang durable, a nice plastic vibe. I've had it for six years now, and it still runs just fine!

My first was TPR. The Serenity by Evolved. It's still one of my favorites, probably always will be. Its great for G-spot stimulation and clit. Never never fails. Of course I just started getting toys in Oct. 09. I'm so glad I did. Why didn't anyone tell me in my twenties how damn fun they were? Oh well better late than never.

My first sex toy was a jelly type...no I don't own it anymore. I did not really care for it since it was not stimulating enough for me. I definitely prefer something harder and firmer! I did not experience any side effects from it, just didn't find it to be what worked for me. I will not buy any jelly type of toys again.

My beloved first jelly vibe accidentally got washed with the wrong soap the other night...jelly is porous and dishwashing soap hurts. The jelly part was a sleeve though so it was taken off and thrown away.

My first toy was a glass dildo, I still have it and use it a handful of times a month.

Graduating beads anal probe made from purple jelly. I enjoyed it till I gagged my now ex-girlfriend with it during rambunctious sex and she bit it in half. Oh the nostalgia of college.
