What Do You Call Sexual Actions?

Contributor: CS2012 CS2012
My husband & I both hate the term making love. We either call sexual actions fuck or sex. So I was wondering what is your favorite term for referring to sexual actions?

Sex = Is just the physical act.
making love = means so much more than just the physical act.

All of the above! Sexing, fucking, doing, banging, diddling, bumping uglies, making an affront to God, waking the neighbors, cleaning the bats out of my plumbing, etc.

We call it everything and anything we can think of. The first time my boyfriend got drunk in front of me, he sweetly growled in my ear "I wanna hump your vagina so bad." It made me laugh so hard I spit out some of my drink, but it made me inexplicably horny. He's my little dork and I love him for being so weird.

All of the above. Like Avant-garde said, sex is the actual act. But depending on the mood or feelings (or lack thereof) involved, it can either be a fuck or making sweet love.

Just because you don't call it "making love" doesn't mean that's not what you're doing. We hate calling it that, but our sexual encounters are nothing short of it.

That being said, our verbal communication is usually, "You wanna put on Blue's Clues?".

In order to get sex in, we usually resort to Mr. TV as a babysitter.

I'm not too fond of the term "making love". I call it any number of things depending on the mood and whatever happens to come out of my mouth at the time.

All of these, at one time or another.

I'm really not a fan of "making love" as a term, though.

I am, however, a fan of "fucking".

I don't really like the term "making love", so I use "sex" or "fucking". I prefer the term "fucking" because sometimes it just sounds like more fun

OMG Cleaning the bats out of my plumbing??? I fucking love that one! We use a whole bunch of slang but usually it's "We'll get together later" said with as much leering as possible.

NO shame in that...little one gets some quality learnin' in and you get some quality time alone. Mama and Daddy have to work on their relationship too! Adult processing during sex is very needed.

We usually refer to it as making love. We speak french so we say "on fait l'amour" we can't say "on fait le sex" LOL it doesn't make sense.

We often say "how bout a lil quickie" but it rarely is a quickie...

Maybe I read too much Dinosaur Comics, but I say "sexytiems." Spelled exactly like that. Not that I say it to anyone, unless you count the toys.

I also think it depends upon the mood and your level of aggression...

We call it "play", or sometimes just "want to get naked?"

We call it many things. Depends on the situation. Sometimes the communication is purely nonverbal as well.

All of the above and more. It really depends on the situation, context etc. but if I had to pick from the poll it would be fuck.

It depends on my mood, but I really dislike saying/calling it "making love".

This week, I suggested, in honor of A Clockwork Orange, "A little of the ol' in-out in-out". Didn't fly.

We usually go with the juvenile "do it".

I sometimes like to say Fuck, but my wife absolutely hates it when I say it. Sometimes we joke with woopie.

Anything connected with A Clockwork Orange would be almost guaranteed to kill my mood very fast.

This is what I think about, too. My wife and I call it making love. If we said it in a sentence it would be, "Would you make love with me?"

Very much agreed. I told my wife about how the book goes because she always begs me out of curiosity what I'm reading..It wasn't a good idea. At least the guy in the book got what he deserved. I never will feel sorry for him. Anyone who does what he did...never mind. This isn't the place.

We use fuck more than anything else at my house. I don't like the phrase 'making love' and never have, nor does my boyfriend.

I never liked "making love," but my boyfriend says it and I think it sounds so sweet when he says it. So I'll say now and then. Mostly I call it sex. Or, like ToyGeek, sometimes I call it "sexytiemz." Like in texts. "I can has sexytiemz now?" Haha.
