I always saw straight fucking as rather un-emotional, just doing it to get off. Sex as dirty sleazy and hot. Love is the opposite of a fuck.

I HATE "making love."
However, I have repeatedly (though not regularly) said things like "love me hard" or some such thing. Love, clearly, in replace of fuck. When I do it it's usually without thinking. I have a feeling it's probably because something inside me feels like the word fuck has connotations of being more physical than emotional, by way of motivation. As in, you fuck because it feels good, not because you love/want to feel close to them. I also think of fucking as rougher. I would never call sweet slow gentle whatever sex "fucking." Because of that, I think that when I'm in the mood to have really emotionally charged and loving rough sex with my partner that I shy away from saying "fuck" and replace it with something else.
I don't usually use "sex" when I ask for it. "Sex" is typically my retrospect word so when it comes up after the fact I'd say "when we were having sex" rather than "when we were fucking" or whatever.
My favorite flirtatious euphemism is simply saying something along the lines of "come play with me" or "lets go play!"

Mostly "fucking." Sometimes "sex" or "let's go to bed" if I'm having a rare subtle moment. But, the phrase "making love" gives me the heebies.

That being said, our verbal communication is usually, "You wanna put on Blue's Clues?".
In order to get sex in, we usually resort to Mr. TV as a babysitter. less

I think "making love" only feels like it should apply when it is going to be soft and sweet. Which doesn't often seem to apply

sex

We alternate between 'fuck' and 'making love'. When we're being all you know, sentimental and 'oh my god, stop I'm going to puke from the fluff' we say "I want to make love to you." When we're in that ravaging, completely turned-on...hot... "I want to fuck you." comes into play.
So really, it depends on the situation at hand.

All of the above, depending on the context.

We usually go with the juvenile "do it".

Depends on the context of the conversation.
11/14/2011
We don't use any of those terms actually but I chose fuck. We just say "stick it in".
11/16/2011
Depends. If the husband's being really rough lately the word fucking comes up more. If we go without for a few days, or it's a little less rough, the term sex comes up more.
11/16/2011
Do its or touches. We just have an odd sense of humor, and it's weird to use fuck in reference to having sex when we are having a normal conversation. We think its fun to come up with interesting euphemisms.

Mostly sex I don't think I've ever heard my wife say "make love"
11/17/2011
All of the above. It definitely depends on the mood.
11/17/2011
It really really really depends, I do call it making love, fucking, mating, coupling, and whatever else may pop into my head...
But I NEVER call it sex, and personally, I hate that expression for it!

I hate the term making love too. For some reason I just can't say it seriously.

"Sex"

Other/it depends.

All of the above... depends on the mood.

Depends on the day too

It's all about the love here! We get gritty sometimes, but in general, it's making love

Fucking or sex, depending...

I hate saying "making love." However, I've recently started calling sex "nookie." LOL! Have to have a sense of humor sometimes to keep things interesting.
