Yes. I'm a trans man, but I am biologically female as some say, I've masturbated since I was a toddler and remember at this point it was for pleasure too. I remember at 5 feeling ashamed when my mother entered and asked what I was doing, if I was touching my thing (untranslatable kiddy name for clitoris) so I guess I had already gotten the message that it was bad somewhere, because I was also a bit scared.
As for toy use, I'm for it. I guess people should be taught by their parents or school safety related to toys, or have access to information in real life sex shops (though when I first entered one at 18 I got explained all about porous materials and why it was dangerous, so I guess if they were allowed to enter having questions answered wouldn't be a problem!)
There should also be booklets with informations on safety and use available in pharmacies, etc. without having to talk to the pharmacist first (some kids are shy.)
But, well, it seems information and education relating to sex safety in LGBT relationships is already hard to find for teens, at least those without an Internet access. It's really a problem, IMO.
