shampoo twice works best for me
Hair washing.. sorry not really about sex

I shampoo once every two or three days. I think leaving some of the natural oils in our hair is good for it.

I hate to admit this, but I use the Wen product that they advertise on TV. I always had an issue with really dry scalp, dandruff, and frizzy hair, and even my hair dresser sister's miracle shampoos didn't help. It seems like no matter how dirty my hair is when I use the Cream Cleanser it always is so soft and smooth. I used to only wash my hair a few times a wk to keep the frizz down and the annoyance of dealing with it, but with this stuff I can wash everyday and no drying or frizz. I hairspray and use gel also, so even with that it cleans it nicely I think.

I have a routine. Shampoo twice, condition once. It's worked well so far. =]

I only wash with conditioner. If you over wash your hair your scalp will produce more oils to compensate.

I only have to shampoo once. Sometimes I conditioner-only wash if I'm not too gunky.

I tend to have oilier roots and dryer ends. When my hair is long (like now), I try to focus the shampoo on the roots, and then just let the shampoo-ey water run through the rest as I rinse. Then I use a good conditioner every time. If my roots are especially oily I shampoo the root area a second time while I have conditioner in.

Shampoo once...It may be time to rethink the hairspray if it takes two rounds to get it out.

I don't use product in my hair so I usually just have to shampoo once. If I haven't washed in in over 3 days sometimes I have to shampoo it 2x. My hair gets pretty dry in the winter so I should probably start doing a weekly conditioning or hot oil treatment. I hear almond oil is good for your hair as well.

I shampoo twice a week and usually only lather up once, sometimes twice if I feel it's really dirty. I'd be concerned about the ingredients in the hairspray more than the shampooing causing a problem. Though, less is really more when it comes to washing hair. It's a good idea to eliminate sulfates and parabens from your haircare routines. Sulfates are very harsh drying for your hair and may be carcinogenic. There's evidence that absorption of sulfates through our skin can cause a build up of them in or internal organs. EEP! Sulfates are included in our shampoos and other sudsy products because they produce lots of bubbles. They also strip things off of our hair. This is necessary when using products that contain silicones. Though most cosmetic silicones aren't, in themselves, harmful, sulfate free shampoos can't always strip the silicones out of your hair so when using a silicone free shampoo, you have to make sure your conditioner and styling products are silicone free. Silicones make our hair really shiny at first but a build up of silicone that isn't being washed out, ultimately dulls hair and makes it become oily faster and may cause a sticky or brittle texture. This may sound like a big hassel, but really, once I cut the sulfates, parabens, and silicones out of my haircare and reduced washing to twice a week, my hair is a lot less problematic for me! Looks and feels healthier and is a lot more manageable and holds style better.

I shampoo twice, but I have very thick hair and use organic/natural shampoo.
