I take a shower once or twice a day depending on what I do that day. I rarely use hair products because I just hate how heavy, sticky, or stiff they can make my hair feel. I use a few different shampoos and mix it up during the week on what I use. I rarely use conditioner because it can make my hair actually look greasy or feel heavy. I do use 2in1 stuff though.

I usually only shampoo once. A month or so ago I had to shampoo twice: once with T-Gel and then again with my regular shampoo. I had some weird waxy feeling spot in my hair due to stress. Now that that's gone, I'm back to just shampooing once.

I use a two in one so it is shampoo & conditioner. I would say switch hairspray because I would agree with you that with the hair products you are using plus several washes in one day might dry out/damage your hair.

I lather my hair twice, I always have. My hair doesn't feel clean otherwise. I have really thick long hair, but I even lather twice when I was a kid and had shorter hair. I only condition about the bottom two thirds of my hair, never the scalp. It gets too oily. I don't usually shampoo every day, though. I think that's too much on the hair and too drying. Usually every second or third day.
I think if you are past puberty, you most likely don't need to shampoo daily. Regularly, of course, but skipping every other day is most likely good for your hair, in fact too much shampooing may actually cause the scalp to make too much oil, causing a vicious cycle.
I've been thinking of looking into those sulfate free shampoos, but damn, they are expensive! We have a large family, and a bottle of shampoo only lasts a few days. I don't know if I can afford it, unless I hide it between shampoos.

It depends on how often you wash your hair, I think. I only wash mine 2-3 times a week, but I do two "cycles" each time I wash it. Part of that is because I use natural shampoo. It's less strong than typical shampoos.

I have super thick hair and a dirty job but am able to get clean with one shampoo and conditioner. I learned as a pet groomer that getting hair squeaky clean is ruinous,and a good shampooing can be done as follows: spread a silver dollar sized amount of shampoo on my hands and apply it to my hair. I distribute the shampoo -very little past my neck- and leave it on while washing my body. I then add some water to the shampoo on my head and lather it,rubbing my scalp to clean it. After rinsing the shampoo I apply conditioner to the ends that are past my chin. The conditioner soaks in while I clean my face.. It works-my hair is clean,hea

I shampoo it once a day, I broke my hand and had it in a cast for the last month, which made it hard to wash. So, I found dry shampoo and used that on days where I didn't feel like spending a half hour trying to wash my hair one handed. It works alright, but it's not something you could use everyday.

I have relatively fine hair and don't bother with a lot of hair products. I usually shampoo once, every time I shower (often with a shampoo bar followed by a cider vinegar and water rinse, sometimes a regular clarifying shampoo). I'd be worried about the type of hairspray you are using if it's not washing out with one wash.
