I don't care but if my Dr does or says anything then I just tell them I keep it the way I like it. I keep it clean so who cares if I shave or not, it's my body.
For those of you that shave...

I don't see any reason why I would do anything differently (grooming wise) to go to the doctor.

I think doctors are use to seeing anything so it doesn't really matter but i rather shave because i always do.

I leave it exactly as I always do, nothing special for any appointment.

If anything, I make sure I'm shaved before going in to see the doc, not grow it in!

I'm usually always shaved, and as for a physical or exam it wouldn't matter to me eiher way. But no one has ever examined my vagina durring a physical or anything, I've always been on my period.

I've been a Registered Nurse for 25 years, part of that time in OB/GYN, believe me most don't care. It's much more important to be clean with no foul odors. The "red bumps" can be unsightly but the type of razor and creams can help decrease that.

I keep it however it is at the time. My gyno doesn't need a special treat

Whatever style I'm rocking at the time is what I go in with. I figure they probably prefer it to be trimmed up anyways.

They have seen absolutely everything before. That's why I like to think of them as emotionless diagnosis machines. Nothing I can do is too strange or gross to show them.

I never thought about not shaving. I ALWAYS have, during nearly every shower.
04/18/2013
I always shave the day before I go into see my gyno.
04/18/2013
I don't worry about it. Just do my normal thing. Usually shaved or recently shaved.
04/18/2013
I keep it shaved. I don't let much grow back before shaving again. I hate hair anywhere besides my head.
04/19/2013
I don't think they care what you look like. They look at them all day long, they aren't judging you by your hair or hairless body.

I figure my doctor has seen everything so it:s okay.
