No, and hopefully I won't catch one!
Have you ever had an STD? ( PRIVATE VOTING )
08/24/2011
Nope. fingers crossed to keep it that way.
08/29/2011
Nope! Lucky me, cuz I haven't always been too careful. I am now!
09/19/2011
Nope. Though nothings short of not having sex can prevent it, I do at least use condoms 100% of the time. Had a scare once (ex called me saying HIS ex had chlamydia), but it turned out to be nothing.

Nope
10/13/2011
Nope. I've had one partner and he was tested before we became sexually active.

You are an excellent example of who should receive the HPV vaccine. It is recommended that BOTH men and women (I beleive the age is below 29) get vaccinated, even if already positive fr the virus. Be well and be safe.

I have had CIN2/3 though, and while they couldn't pin down exactly what strand it was, I guess it's HPV. Considering that 80% of women in America get it in their lives, I don't see it as an STD really. Call me stupid, but condoms are only 70% affective against it and most of t he cases heal on their own over time. less

No, but I've had a scare with having a few before and it wasn't fun at all. I recommend everyone get tested just in case, even if you've always had safe sex.

I never contracted a STD, and I've never had cold sores. I'm very glad for that, and I want to be safe every time I have sex.
12/31/2011
I'm not really sure why an STD is worse than any other disease one can be afflicted with. Of course safe sex should be taken seriously, but it isn't a moral failing to get an infection, any more than it's a moral failing to have chronic migraines or epilepsy or any other random illness.
12/31/2011
unfortunately yes oh the joys of a what you think is a monogamous partner stepping out of the relationship not fun mentally or physically
12/31/2011
I just found out this morning that my cheating ex infected me with HPV. So, yes.
01/02/2012
I don't have any STI's and haven't ever had any (just got tested a few weeks ago). I make a rule of always using barriers with new partners (even for oral sex) until we go to get tested together.
02/12/2012
I haven't and they test you when you're pregnant so I've been tested twice.

04/08/2012
No, but if I ever do I'm kicking his butt.
04/08/2012
and I better never get one. or my husband will be in trouble. Just kidding...maybe
04/08/2012
Never. I plan to do everything I can do keep it that way.
04/10/2012
Nope, got tested not so long ago.

I have never had one. My hubby had crabs, but was told the likely place he caught them was his father's funeral.

No, but then again I don't have a risky sex life.

Fortunately nope, helps that I haven't had many partners

BV isn't necessarily from multiple sexual partners or not being careful. It's just a fluctuation of your ph or natural flora (I'm certain I spelled this wrong, but hopefully it made sense anyways.)

And yes, I have unfortunately. I dated a guy that swore that when we were separated he didn't have sex with anyone and I took him at his word and ended up with chlamydia. Luckily, it's the most common and easily treatable STIs, but still. It was humiliating. He was the 3rd person I had ever been with and I was crushed.
And I saw a lot of talk about HPV, but I don't know that it's classified as just an STI. It's a weird thing that kind of comes and goes as it pleases, too. I was diagnosed while pregnant with HPV and at my 8 week postpartum checkup it showed negative and 18 months later I'm still testing negative for it.

wrap it before you tap it! Sex ed helped lower the exposure possibilities for me, I knew what I was doing
