I shave completely but am curious and would like to try a Brazilian

Most the time just shave. Although waxing when I have the extra cash to go get it done.

I tried removal cream ONCE, baaaad idea. Nothing but skin burns and I still had half my hair. The pain lasted days.

I also tried it on my face(and this was a 'for men' brand) and it didn't work their either. I came to the conclusion that the stuff is junk. Shaving is the most painless way.

If you wax, spend the extra dime and get the good stuff. Cheep wax kits don't get all the hair and you'll have to re-wax the same areas so much you'll be a "hurting unit". But aside from a sharp, tingling pain that will last a few days, you can also break out in zits all over the waxed area. Sure it looks nice, smooth and sexy the next day for a porno shoot but by the end of the week it's not a pretty sight.

I'm too much of a wuss to try waxing, although I'm curious. I currently shave, but am considering an electric shaver (seems like it would be a lot easier).

I use a head hair trimmer. Not the best thing to use, but it gets it done, and without a rash or itch to boot.

i am REALLY surprised there were only 2 posts on not getting rid of pubic hair at all!

i started shaving when i was 17 and my boyfriend told me it was 'skanky' that i had pubic hair. i shaved for about 3 years, then liberated myself and quit shaving. legs and pubes.


i stopped shaving my underarms in 09 when i moved to italy for a while. i was going completely au naturel and i loved it. i was proud of my underarm hairs, making their debut, saying hello to the world! i'd been shaving since they started growing and had no idea what they even looked like. they were soft, sparse, and feminine, in my eyes.


moving back to the states last year had me falling in love with my current beau, who shaves his underarms and his pubes. i thought that was just straight weird, and was even more weirded out when he told me he just could *not* go down on me because my 'hippy hair style' freaked him out. now granted, i didnt trim or anything, but my bush is MILD. it doesnt straggle out beyond any borders, stays where it's told, and isnt overly thick.


he eventually got over his stigma and goes at it (and is very good at it!) but a month ago talked me into letting him shave me.

we argued about it, got in a BIG argument about it, and i eventually contended. as soon as it was over i got so upset. i was livid! and i felt manipulated. i felt my power was gone.

i view shaved pubes now the way my boyfriend at age 17 viewed full bushes... 'yuck.'

they look weird, they get red bumps and pimples that hurt and are unsightly, they grow back and a five o clock shadow down there is not at all sexy to me.

i was pissed at him for a week, and the deal was that i could slug him any time i was itching.



i tug my furs willing them to grow back fast. i feel self-conscious and super naked without them. i'll never. EVER. shave. again.

I use a hair removal cream to take everything off. I find it so much faster and easier than shaving.

When I do remove the hair, I shave..but depending on how much I've let it grow out, I need to use the trimmer first because it would take over an hour and multiple cartridges with a full bush.

I trim really well, but a few days before my period I shave it all off.

i used to shave arms legs, between and under, even naired my face once, that was not cool. Now I try to stay au natural, but tweeze and shave just a bit, for beach days. though the armpit and leg hair stays. thick.

A shave is the only why I get a clean look.

I shave the top half and trim the lower half of my pelvic bone.

Shaving, I've tried waxing and it wasn't for me.

I trim with an electric razor. I don't like the feeling of the stubble growing back after shaving, and I hate ingrown hairs, and I'm really sensitive to lotions and stuff down there that would prevent ingrowns.

I just trims things up. I can't stand the idea of some strange person looking at and/or touching my junk. *shudders*

Besides I'm not really that high maintenance, I prefer some fuzz as long as it is trimmed and well taken care of.
