There was once I got UTI. I thought it was caused by frequent sexual activities. After I came to Eden, now i think it was caused by the suspicious lube I was using that night. It had no label on the bottle or anything.

How concerned are you about how safe your lubricants are?
12/21/2011
I'm sensitive to a lot of chemicals, so I need to be cautious about what I use. Even still, some products that should give me problems don't. Not sure what exactly causes the problems for me specifically, but these days I err on the side of caution and watch ingredients lists carefully.

I always check EWG Cosmetic Database for every single ingredient before I get a lube these days. It's horrifying to see how bad some of the ingredients are.

ehhh, it passes my mind occasionally, but i don't really ever do anything about it.
01/11/2012
i try to mind my health

I'm moderately concerned. I've never had any reaction to any lube ingredients so I don't worry too much about it. But then again, I usually don't need to use lube in the first place.

I try and get the best. Thanks to Edens I know better and am pretty informed other wise I wouldn't know better. So thank you Eden!

After being on EF for a few months, I am now quite concerned with the ingredients in the lubes I use. I now tend to stick with only the best lubes and most natural ones.
03/25/2012
I always check ingredients and reviews, I have very sensitive skin and there are some places you do no want to be itchy

just a little

Before coming to EF, I didn't pay attention to what was in my lubes, but now I've been educated on harmful ingredients so I look at them and try to get things that are not as harmful to me.
04/06/2012
I know I should probably pay attention, but when it comes to lube the only things I read are the volume and the price. I don't really consider it to be important enough to spend any more money than I have to on.

I have to avoid glycerin, but I wish the paraben free ones were thicker and longer lasting! I hate having to reapply the sliquid sassy so damn much. Considering buying something with parabens just because I want something thicker. I have soooooo much lube I've bought, still can't find what I like.
Anyone have suggestions for something water base, glycerin free, and VERY THICK? Gel like would be the best if possible.

I don't put much thought into. I've never had any issues though.

I have very sensitive skin and bits, so I do my best to use the best stuff.
04/16/2012
never really thought about it until i started reading reviews for lubes.
04/20/2012
I am somewhat concerned about it.I had some lubrication that I used that burned when I applied and I realized it was the lube after it happened a couple of times so now I pay more attention to what lube is good or not.
04/21/2012
Before I came here I never thought about it, not now I'm an avid bottle reader checking for certain ingredients. I've become a bit of a lube snob.
04/21/2012
I'm very careful when choosing a lubricant, and I always have been. There are a lot of lubes out there I would love to try, but I'm just too scared.
04/21/2012
I make sure to only use respected brands and I am starting to only look for things that do not have harmful ingredients.

I recently realized I had a mild glycerin allergy (after trying a lube with a lot of it and getting a magnified feeling of the mild itching I sometimes have) and read that it also put one at risk for yeast infections, so I'm planning to use up the lube I have and then begin to be much more careful.
07/26/2012
I make it a point to read the ingredients, yes.
07/27/2012
I stick to water based because there's always a silicone toy involved and usually intimate organics because the defense actually prevents yeast infections. Problem is it dries up fast but a little added water and it comes right back.
07/27/2012
I only use lubes that are actual lubricants, not lotions or anything like I've heard some people mention :/ . I read through everything for ingredients but after that I don't think about it anymore

VERY VERY VERY concerned with what i put INSIDE my body. As a women so many things can f*cked up internal pH level and screw with my body. There is enough graph out there why would I want to make myself more susceptible to them.

I use Sliquids organics Gel almost exclusively at this point. I used to us a silicone base during sex and a water based with toys, but the Sliquids water based GEL meets all my needs and its VEGAN BODY AND TOY SAFE!

I am starting to pay more attention and only use Sliquid now.

Some lubes make me burn, so I try to find less harmful ones.
