I love flesh color toys, but only in the very realistic dildos. Don't like flesh in any other toys!.
How do you feel about flesh-colored toys?

Fun colors always make things feel/appear better. However, there are some color combinations that really don't work (eg: blue balls, or a green vagina). Flesh colors don't bother us either, but there is a point where they look too realistic to be fun!

And. Oh boy. That's one gorgeous penis.

Same here - fleshtone doesn't really bother me but I definitely find fun colours more visually appealing than say, a fleshlight vagina. The fleshlight ice on the other hand....

Nothing realistic for me. I will stick to bright colors and abstract designs.

Grosses me out
03/01/2011
I don't particularly care for flesh colored or realistic toys, but if flesh tone was the only color option for a toy with features that I really wanted I wouldn't refuse to get it.
03/01/2011
I reeeeeally don't like fleshy or realistic toys. If it's flesh toned but not realistic I might buy it, but not otherwise.
03/01/2011
Realistic toys freak me out. Flesh tones are gross even if the toy isn't realistic. I want something that looks new and bright.
03/01/2011
The flesh colored toys really creep me out. They're just uncanny. Nice, bold fun colors and designs are favorites.

i like color and i try to vary the colors of my toys as much as possible. at first i tried to stay away from the fleshtoned toys since i'm not one for a whole lot of realism. but after wanting a soft toy i got into the flesh colors because the softer toys tend to be more realistic. so as long as the toy is not too realistic i don't mind the flesh tones.

Some people feel a real personal attachment to a dildo (especially FTM gents who may not have a dick of their own) and so I think it's important to have a broad range of colors available. Of course, they won't match everyone all the time. It's like trying to find the right shade of makeup.

"Flesh colored" toys don't bother me at all. Our first sex toy was a (gag) SilaGel fleshtone realistic phallic vibrator. Although it wasn't a high quality toy, and it had that weird strawberry and shower curtain smell to it, and it's been retired, (we got better toys and the thing developed a seam separation) it still maintains a place of affection in my heart.
I'm not looking at toys while I'm using them, so the color isn't really important. Although I do like Jet Black toys most of all. Something kinky and kinda sinister about them. Jet Black toys mean business.
As for flesh tones not always representing all colors of the human race, I think it's hard. There are so many variations on skin tone, getting every single color would be prohibitively expensive. So many "skin tone" toys seem to be Caucasian (pretty pale too, as most men don't tan their penises) Caramel, and Chocolate.
I remember when Band-aid tried to make "skin tone band aids" in a lot of different skin tones. They had a whole bunch of different tones, some all in the same package, and some with only one tone per package. Because there were so many varieties and they STILL didn't represent everyone, there were complaints like, "Why don't they have my High Yellow, or my Pale Olive?" Or whatever of the thousands of varieties of colors? They were taken off the market after not selling well. less

But I feel the same way about color; I can't see with my VJ.

I prefer white black or sky blue toys most of the time. But I do own one flesh colored dildo.

I don't care about the color as long as it does the job.
03/16/2011
I really don't care about the color of my toys. I have mostly purple and green ones, but that's because purple seems to be the default color for some of the toys I'm into. The green is just because I like green, and it was the prettiest of the available colors. Really though, color has absolutely no bearing on the toy for me.
03/20/2011
I like bright, interesting colors. Unfortunately, I like silicone toys and the choices are not that great. I'm just... not looking to fuck a stick of bubblegum or purple monster dick all of the time. And don't get me started on black....

It is definitely more important with packing toys. Totally different than "preference" when one buys a dildo for sexual use on oneself.

I was saying it must be hard to get all the tones, and keep the price reasonable. But, yeah, FtM men do want to match.

My fiancee and I prefer non-realistc shapes and colors, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if a toy we wanted only came in realistic colors.
04/15/2011
I've never had a toy in a flesh-tone and I don't think I'd ever buy one. They're just really unappealing to me. I don't mind realistic shape, but I need a non-realistic colour!
04/15/2011
I really don't like them at all. I find them creepy.
04/15/2011
I do not really like flesh colored but if its all thats available then ill deal!
04/15/2011
The more realistic (flesh tone) the hotter I get; colors are ok, but they distract my attention from the MORE important things!
05/22/2011
I like flesh-colored dildos much more than colorful ones visually, but i don't care that much, its inside me not in front of my face
