How do you feel about flesh-colored toys?

I prefer off-color toys over flesh if I can help it.

I prefer to have at least one realistic dildo but not so realistic it's intimidating. But the others can be fun colors or styles. It's good to have a variety and I want both me and my partner to like how it looks.

I would probably choose a flesh-colored/realisti c dildo for harness play, so that it would look more like a part of my body. For anything else I prefer fun colors, especially happy blues and purples!

I'm not a fan of any toys which are life like. I would generally just stay away from flesh colored toys, but if there was a toy in an odd shape or something, then I would not be quite so picky about color.

I used to be incredibly weirded out by flesh-colored toys, but somewhere along the line they just stopped bothering me. its safe to say i definitely prefer flesh toned or skin coloured toys. i get a little weirded out by neon dildos or HOT PINK vibrators. it just seems too unnatural, i'd rather have the real thing. or, i guess, i'd rather not look at it and be like "WOAH wtf neon thing is trying to rape -- oh it's just my bf with the vibe"

As for flesh tones not always representing all colors of the human race, I think it's hard. There are so many variations on skin tone, getting every single color would be prohibitively expensive. So many "skin tone" toys seem to be Caucasian (pretty pale too, as most men don't tan their penises) Caramel, and Chocolate.

I remember when Band-aid tried to make "skin tone band aids" in a lot of different skin tones. They had a whole bunch of different tones, some all in the same package, and some with only one tone per package. Because there were so many varieties and they STILL didn't represent everyone, there were complaints like, "Why don't they have my High Yellow, or my Pale Olive?" Or whatever of the thousands of varieties of colors? They were taken off the market after not selling well.
