My email contains my name and my state and even the school that I attend. By releasing my email, you are releasing enough personal information about me that I could in fact only be one person. You might as well be releasing my full legal name and address (when in fact, you sort of are.)

AND, FYI--- To do this is a direct breach of their privacy policy and is a breach of contract on their end. It would garner some serious lawsuits and damages claims. If proven as a false accusation and your information was released, it could also be grounds for libel/defamation of character on top of compensatory damages for personal/professional actions as a result of the information being public and the remedy for breach of contract.
I am sure they meant that they would release your site name, email, state, and possibly any other non-damaging but site personal info. That way the other members would know who on the site made the infractions but their right to individual privacy is still protected as agreed upon in their legal privacy policy. less
