Also I believe the experience section in the descriptive reviews are still allowed to be personal... there's just no way personal experience isn't, well, personal!
Is it objective? (Epiphora's challenge)

Mayhaps the best suggestions from this thread should be put in a new thread whose title highlights the fact that the thread is about actual suggestions on how to improve the description programme? I imagine it's a fair amount of work keeping on top of the forum and perhaps this thread is simply not being read?

I have a question for those that actually write "descriptions?" (Hence - not reviews!) Do you think that they are rated lower ... more

My description reviews are NOT rated lower than my regular reviews. I'd say in general my description reviews seem to go over better than my regular ones, furthermore I enjoy writing descriptive reviews more (in fact, some of my regular reviews read like descriptive reviews). But on the "review usefulness scale" I'm generally at useful regardless of the review aim.

Toygirl2 had a incredibly valid point that the community in general does not get the "descriptions" program.

Red's idea that maybe this should be summarized into a new thread is fantastic. There is a lot of good info here. Do you want to volunteer? (I'm not - personal.)

Revised, and probably much better. Not necessarily objective. That point was covered. I appreciate the feedback.
