I DO breast feed my child and I'm not ashamed of it, but honestly, having mil filled tits while trying to have sex is kinda a hassle. It hurts like hell when they are engorged. And if they leak, the milk gets EVERYWHERE, and it's not the best smelling thing in the world when the milk just sits there soaked into the bed. It sucks more while I'm pumping to empty myself out with my fiance standing naked right next to me waiting for me to be done but pumping takes about half hour if it's done right.
Honestly, it's just something that kinda puts a damper on trying to be intimate. It just sorta gets in the way... less

When I was nursing my kids (I have about 7 or 8 years of total breastfeeding under my belt, with the 3 kids) I would usually grab the baby right before we had sex, even if they were asleep, and just let them nurse to get the ejection milk out.

After a few months of breastfeeding, your breasts calm down, they are used to lactating and they don't fill up so full-feeling anymore. You make just as much milk, (in fact you make more) but 80-95% of it is made during the feeding, so you don't feel "full" unless the baby has gone a LONG time without nursing.

By the time the baby is 3 months old or less, that feeling of fullness is pretty much gone most of the time.

I used to lay a towel on the bed, under my breasts so I wouldn't have to deal with soggy sheets or "Parmesan" smell later. Then, I would just put the towel in the hamper. Or, I often would just leave my bra on during sex. No, not ideal, but it's only for the early weeks, when you're leaking like crazy. After you get used to nursing, you won't leak as long as the baby is nursing normally. 10 to 12 feedings a day is normal for the first 6 to 12 months, as long as you nurse regularly, you will feel less full as time goes on. less
