Most distressing thing to find out about your date

I hate liers! I wouldn't like to be polygamous. If the STD wasn't treatable and they didn't tell me I'd be pissed.

STD would be a major problem but so would being a liar. Been in a relationship like that and it is so stressful.

Compulsive liar would be the worst. How could anyone live with this? I did date a guy who was, I think a very dishonest man, and I broke it off as soon as things started to not make sense. (I never had sex with him. Usually my instincts are good about these things.)
The STD would differ. It is curable? If he goes for treatment then it isn't a problem. I did once refuse to sleep with a guy, in part, because he told me he had a fairly "minor" STD before we went out. It was curable, but he didn't want to take the medication becaues you have to not drink alcohol for the entire week, plus a few days, when you are on it. I thought this man not only didn't care about his own health, but he didn't care about his partners.
That being said, My Man was living with his parents when we started dating, (he found it embarrassing, although he was saving for a house, and got an apartment not too long after) and he's older than I am. But, he had a college education and a good full time job, and he was paying rent to them, and it didn't last that long, so it wasn't a big deal.

Numerous things would have been deal-breakers for me. In general, anything that makes someone unpleasant to be around.

this thread makes me nervous

STDs could be dealt with with precautions and as long as he understands that I am NOT getting whatever he has. I've dated someone in a relationship group before, but a liar is something I'm NOT down for.

The compulsive lying would irritate the crap outta me!

Lying can cover a lot of things. I go with that.

Lying and poly. I have no problem with poly, but it's not the type of relationship I want.
