That's stupid everybody has a right to be protected and not want to get pregnant or an STD. Maybe it also depends on how many you are carrying. I would say if you have more then 10 it is a sign of prostitution.

It's common sense to carry them. Of course, make sure they're carried safely, but women carrying condoms in a purse when they go out to dinner in case they really hit it off is just being smart and safe.

Nope, since people can carry condoms (even in quantity) for a variety of non-paid sexual acts (supplying friends, 3+some...). In addition, it's a bad idea to have people have to choose between safe sex and avoiding arrest

All criminalizing condom possession is doing is putting people in very dangerous situations.
I think prostitution should be legalized anyway. If adults capable of giving consent are able to engage in sex with other consenting adults, and they're able to engage in financial transactions with other consenting adults, I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to legally have sex for money with other consenting adults.
Driving things like these underground and making them criminal will only make things worse. It hurts public health, it fuels the abusive prison industrial complex, and it perpetuates cycles of poverty and violence against marginalized people.
It's absolutely fucked up.
