No. I like meat too much. I could give up beef but not fish or chicken.

Yes, I have spent a portion of my life vegetarian before, so it would not be difficult at all for me!

I ate like a vegetarian for a while, which was fairly easy and left me feeling pretty healthy. One of my close friends and her boyfriend are vegan and after watching them I just don't think I could do it.

I am vegetarian and it was super easy. I didn't eat much meat to begin anyway.

No, I wouldn't. I am an avid hunter, and I love hunting. If not for that, I could go without meat, but killing an animal and not eating it seems wrong to me.

I have tried to, but it didn't work. I am a huge foodie and have absolutely no self-control. I do try not to eat animal products often and always buy free-range.

No. I don't like the texture of many vegetables, and I use eggs a lot in my baking.

I basically gave up meat for a very long long time and only ate it when I had muscle issues.

Now, I have come to realise that we need to eat meat in order to be healthy. Soy products just don't cut it as well.

Well, I've all ready been a Vegetarian for three years now, and am slowly leaning towards becoming a Vegan. I was really worried it would be hard for me, and at first it kinda was, but after less then two months, I got use to it. However, I also live with another Vegetarian, who was all ready in the 'lifestyle' before I was. So I learned a lot from her before hand. Which I do strongly suggest.

I have been a vegetarian. It was a long time ago, and I stopped just because it made meal time with my family more difficult. (I was always the different one, lol)

My ex was vegan. She was so obnoxious about it I made it a point to never stop eating meat and using animal products.

I'm a flexitarian.

I briefly tried veganism. I missed cheese too much, and was too lazy to figure out how to replace it with something equally satisfactory.

I gave up beef and pork years ago, and have been a lot happier since I did. A couple of years ago, I stopped eating poultry, although I still have turkey when we visit or host family for major holidays. Other than that, I still eat eggs a couple of times a week, fish 2-4 times a week — and cheese pretty much every day. I will probably stop eating fish at some point, but so far, I haven't found a good way to replace it.

I, too, have experienced (and been turned off by) the self-righteousness of some vegetarians and vegans. I made a promise long ago not to be a "pesky vegetarian". As far as I'm concerned, it's up to me to decide what I eat. What you eat is up to you — Bon Appétit!

I love bacon. And chicken. and cheese.

My roommate is Vegan and occasionally she'll cook for me. It is ok once in a while, but not all the time.
