I am a single mom, a student, and a sex toy reviewer I seriously consider this a side job lol.
Being a mom is a 24/7 no holiday, no sick time job, but it has the absolute best benefits of all.
I am working towards my BASW (Bachelors in Social Work) but I plan on getting a Masters. I might switch to Psychology, depending on exactly what route I want to go (here the two programs are almost identical, but there are a few extra things i dont feel like explaining). At this point in time I want to end up working with teens and children who have rough situations, i.e. substanse abuse or mental health therapy. I want to minor in some type of English/Writing program.
Good luck!

Just a housekeeper at a motel. I have an AA degree, but the economy is hitting me and my family hard, so I can't really go for anything. Plus nothing really interests me so I'm kinda stuck in limbo.

I am more of the "Jack" kinda guy; construction, structural steel fabrication, mechanic (25 years), steel erection and all forms of upholstery. I also worked in a shoe repair shop as my first job and learned the joys of custom leather work.
Right now I am a happy home husband, till I can find some work.

I work full-time at an online retail company that I absolutely loathe, but I am currently in the process of looking for an apprenticeship with a chef to replace my current position. I'm also a full-time Culinary Arts/Food & Beverage Management student. Down time? Yeah, I don't even know what that is anymore.

Battling my college to let me back in for the Office Administration program so I can get my AS degree (yes, I actually LIKE office work). Although I am not sure a degree would help since EVERY office job posting wants 2+ years experience without any mention of degrees.
Currently I am family chauffeur and laundress.

No shame in liking office work - I love it! Knew I wanted to be a secretary from the time I was 18 so I started at the bottom and worked up to executive secretary and executive admin - I've now branched out a little into other departments but my job is easy to dress for, climate controlled, pays well, has awesome benefits, and comes with 3 weeks vacation time, 3 personal days, 2 sick days, 2 floating days, and 11 paid holidays - What's not to like??

(Besides, after working as a dishwasher, department store sales, thrift stores, and bakeries for minimum wage, I need something that can allow me to actually support myself.)

LOL, What would you like to know? I've worked in roofing & contracting, homeowners insurance, high net worth wealth management, souvenir importing and sales, and now natural gas sales and distribution. I've been everything from an accounting clerk to a receptionist to a purchasing assistant, to inside sales, to executive admin (my favorite and most frequent).

Until last month, I was a Convience store clerk and yes sometimes it was like Kevin Smith's Clerks and Clerks 2. Once my husband started working again, I was back to being a child care provider and laundress and maid,oh, and plummer....otherwise known as a SAHM.

Yeah that is what I am still trying to figure out, because I still am not sure exactly what path I want to take. It's good that the programs are flexible here though. My advisor told me that probably the only thing I would HAVE to have a MA in Psych for was Clinical Psychology. I really want to work with youth though, and I am still not sure what grad program I want.
