Thank you for such an inclusive list! Your purse alone sounds a little like a bug out bag, ha ha! You sound like a Mommy, through & through, always having stuff just in case something happens & you need it. I admire a prepared individual!

It's been years, but I used to carry a cloth diaper, a clean pair of nylon baby pants or a wrap, extra diaper pins and a washcloth with my "baby butt cleaner" solution in a zip lock plastic bag and a small tube of regular Desitin. ("I love the smell of Desitin in the morning!" P'Gell) Plus a "wet bag" for the dirty diaper or dirty or wet baby clothes that result. And, a sleeper in case of blow outs. And of course, a few baby toys and a sippy cup and a bag of "fishy crackers" for older babies and toddlers.
If I'm going somewhere where I have to sit for a while I'll have a book. At the moment, it's Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sedaris or Weird Chicago by a bunch of authors. less
