My boyfriend always makes jokes about how long I take in the shower. Depending on the time of day, it can take up to 30 minutes from the time the bathroom door closes to when it opens again. This time does NOT include brushing teeth, plucking eyebrows, doing hair, or any other beauty act.

My showers are usually about 10 minutes, sometimes more, especially if I have to shave. Baths are different for me because they're a leisure. If I'm gonna draw up a bath, I'm gonna sit in it for an hour or so... or until I finish the bottle of wine

If I don't shave my legs my showers take me just under 10 minutes, but with shaving and all that, it knocks it up to about 18 or so if I shave my coochy too.

Since I shave pretty much every other day it takes about 25 minutes. I tend to dilly dally in the shower too, just cause I love the feeling of the hot water on my skin!

I can be quick if necessary, but usually that's not the case, lol..

I definitely take around 20 minutes. I shave armpits, legs, and pubic area daily. My hair is also fairly long and thick and it takes me a while to wash it, condition it (using a scalp massager to "comb" the conditioner through to the ends), pinning my hair up to let the conditioner set while I go about other business, then rinsing the conditioner out . . .

It is definitely a process, much like Selective Sensualist said. I've got a whole routine I go through in there, and there isn't much I can do to speed it up.

And the length of shower is directly proportionate to length of body hair, haha!

Wow! I must be a really slow shower taker. My average is about 25-30 minutes. That's only with me shaving my underarms. If I shave everything, I'm looking at nearly an hour! I guess my hot water heater really hate me.

I take 20-30min., I enjoy the sensation from the water, sometimes I need a quick orgasm and I always have something to shave. I would take longer if I had the time. After a workout, I am out in less then 10min.

The hot water tank in my building sucks so in the winter it drains fast (the heat is baseboard so it uses it up too). I became quite skillful at the art of the fast shower when at one point my family of 7 had 1 bathroom to share, and then I spent another summer as a camp counselor (trust me, when you have 6 pre-teen girls running around outside the bathroom you shower FAST), and I perfected it shortly after the birth of my son.

I shave my legs at a separate time - I can't balance or see in a dimly-lit shower stall well enough to do it there. So it's shampoo (repeat), rinse hair, condition, body soaping, pit shave, rinse body soap, rinse conditioner, facial scrub, facial rinse, cold rinse body, towel around head, dry the rest of the body. In that order, in fifteen minutes and twenty-five seconds.

Having a nosy bastard-ex-step-father actually time the whole thing is how I know.

A "shaving and shampooing shower" takes longer than a "I just need to get clean" shower. I perfected the non-shaving 3 minute shower when my babies were babies. You don't GET more than 3 minutes to take a shower when you have babies, unless your partner or a friend will take care of the baby. Babies are woken up by ANY attempt you make to take care of yourself, it's TRUE!

I prefer baths, unless the weather is really hot. My Man and I take baths together all the time, and we take our time.

I feel I get cleaner with a bath, even if I just fill the tub a little. I feel I can't get my pubic area really CLEAN unless I submerge it in water. It's a Thing.

My hair is a bit shorter than it has been in recent years. It's a little below my shoulders as opposed to the middle of my back, or lower, so it is easier to shampoo and takes less time. I often shampoo in the sink, if I didn't get to in the shower. It's GREAT for the drain. Our house has kids with long long hair, a Mama with long hair, and a Man who is losing his hair. Our poor drains.

I'd say typically I'm right about 20 minutes. It really just depends, I get out when the hot water runs out!!!

When we lived in the apartments the water heater was a community feature. So it was seriously an endless supply of hot water....it was NICE..

I can range wildly. I can be as quick as 5 minutes if I don't have the luxury of time. And on the other end of the spectrum, I can definitely enjoy myself a nice, long, hot shower lasting half an hour. Yummmmy feeling.
