Haha my friends and I occasionally use phrases like "hate crimes" and "budget cuts" as swear words. The joke is that in reality, a bitch is just a female dog, but a hate crime is a genuinely abhorrent thing.

One of my friends and I use the word sometimes when we're arguing for fun.

The word bitch really doesn't bother me and I use it frequently. For example, I am a bitch and my hubby is my bitch. lol

I've never met a feminist that hasn't annoyed the shit out of me.

I usually avoid using the word bitch. If a woman is being very rude, I'll just call her an a$$hole or a fcuking jerk.

Once in awhile, I will use the word bitch in an ironic or sarcastic way and feel comfortable.

I don't really think there's anything wrong with it as a word. I try to not use it in an insulting manner, though.

I swear a lot and see no problem with the word 'bitch' or any other swear words. I never really understood why swearing can be such a big deal; they're just words.

I'm comfortable with it, and I swear frequently.

I am active in the dog show community, and still....after decades....feel uncomfortable with that term even in it's "appropriate" use. I say my "female" or "girls", when speaking about my dogs!!

And for that I sadly vote +1 for myself.
I am that way... If I am pissed at you, you're a bitch. If I am mad at myself, I am a bitch... I know I really shouldn't, but it comes out none the less.

It depends on what context I am using it for and to whom I am referring to. I use it in anger at a male or female. I also have used it for my personal empowerment, directed at me and finally, my friends and I have teased each other in friendly and laughing manners as an I am 'jealous' you are so lucky type of teasing. On another note, I have raised puppies for family and select friends who wanted a puppy from my dog and have talked to the vet about my bitch being in season.

like any word, it it's used too often and in all contexts, it can be robbed of its power. For example, by 2012,the word "jobs" will be so overused it will lose all meaning.

My mother always has a saying when someone calls her a bitch she goes oh no you didn't that's Mrs Bitch to you and don't you forget it lol shes crazy. I even got her earrings that said Mrs Bitch she cracked up when she saw them and loves them

I use it to refer to myself and others, quite often, and I'm perfectly comfortable with it. With me it could be anything from a term of endearment to a simple reference to the person-- "Hey, Bitch!"-- to a reference to myself, because I acknowledge that I'm a snarky bitch sometimes.

It doesn't bother me to use it, but I don't really use it that much.

I'm comfortable using it in reference to joking with my sister or in sexual instances with my hubby and myself being the "Bitch". I've used it in anger too but not so often. Outside of me refering to myself as a Bitch I do not allow anyone else but my sis to call me one. I will break bad on a person who does.

This is how I feel about it as well.

I usually use the worth bitch as a verb actually. I refer to my complaining and others complaining as "bitching" more often than I use the word bitch. I will say it to others in a joking manor but never to offend. I try to avoid offending other people.

I generally only use it jokingly. If I'm pissed at someone, I complain about what I actually hate about them. I'm not going to be so generic as to just say "Oh he/she/they/you are a bitch!"

Come to think of it, I don't often call people bitch, but I'm not one to call names much either. I name-call my partner jokingly. If I use the word bitch, it's probably when someone does something really terrible to me, male or female. I really don't use it often at all, but I do use douche bag. Mostly douche bag or bastard comes while driving and someone almost hits me. I do call my partner a douche baggy sometimes just playing.

I never call my friends bitch or anything like that and when I do call my partner names, were joking. It takes doing something very hurtful to me for me to really be hateful.
