Let's see. It's my freshman year in college and I'm about 40k in debt. By the time I graduate, it will be about 120k - the reason that it isn't 160k is because I came in with a boatload of credit (about two semester's worth).
I chose to attend an out-of-state college and didn't qualify for any financial aid, so I knew this would happen. I don't regret it at all, but it does mean finances tend to be tight at best, and I expect to take more than four years because I plan on working full time on alternating semesters.
Right now I'm just glad my parents pay for my medical bills.
