Both! Cabernet Sauvignon is my go-to among wines but I also like many of the whites. Beers... I by far prefer something like an IPA with a high IBU number. Although, I very much do like many of the offerings from the Unibroue brewery of Quebec, Canada. I'm particularly fond of Unibroue's TERRIBLE as well as MAUDITE. less

Many beers don't really taste like the mass produced beers at all. Old Rasputin is a Stout that, at least to me has an outstanding flavor, which goes well with and in stew or pot roast. Wifey uses a can of Old Rasputin in the crock pot when she makes me Pot Roast. New Glarus brewery in Wisconsin has a seasonal production Raspberry Tart beer that the folks we've shared it with say tastes more like a sweet tart wine than beer. less
