It varies... anytime from early December to a few day before Christmas... depending on when we get around to it.
When Do You Trim Your Tree?
04/09/2011
The day after Thanksgiving! I would do it Thanksgiving night, but my husband has something against it. It's so much fun to make spiced apple cider and eat leftovers while trimming the tree

So, for those who get trees (real or fake) for the holidays, when do you set them up and start decorating? And while we're at it, do you have any special traditions associated with tree-trimming?

We normally do it the week/weekend after Thanksgiving. Once the holiday hype for Thanksgiving is up, then we start hauling stuff out. The tree/decor for Christmas usually goes away the week after Christmas too. You have a whole month of Christmas decor hype, after its all over, we're exhausted and we usually want our house back to normal and not so cluttered lol. We have a small apartmnet, so we like to reclaim that corner of the house
